– The six-foot-six-inch 2029 Tartan forward Dayee playing in Philadelphia for Sizzle MHC team in the Made Hoops tournament showed ability on the perimeter as a driver, on the low block and as a cutter. Two post-up scores, one a fading fallaway baseline on the right block then Dayee dove from perimeter cutting in the paint for inside 5 foot score and another put the ball on the floor and finished through contact. Dayee showed a willingness to shoot from the perimeter which is a growth area for his game.

Justus continues to show flashes that make him a name to track in Minnesota’s 2029 class. At about 6’5-6’6 he was finishing above the rim with ease in the game I watched, including an alley-oop in transition right over the top of a defender. He’s not afraid of a physical battle in the paint, but also has the touch to step out to the corner and hit the open three. Does a nice job of quickly getting his shot off off the catch, which will help him as he comes up against quicker defenders over the years. He helped lead Minnesota Falcons to a win over Gain Elite on Thursday night.

Justus continues to improve and looks like a serious prospect in Minnesota’s 2029 class. His athleticism looked on another level this weekend, blocking tons of shots and throwing down some crazy dunks, including the best poster of the spring I have seen. He plays with great physicality and was unstoppable when attacking the basket. Dayee can hit on jumpers in the mid-range and I think he is a consistent three-point shot away from being the number one player in this class.

Justus just continues to keep getting better, as he showed even more improvement this weekend versus a couple weeks ago. The 6’5” wing impressed me with his ability to create using the dribble and the threat of him pulling up for jump shots. I saw him connect on a very tough turnaround jumper, which was very quick and smooth. Dayee is also extremely athletic and is nearly impossible to stop from getting downhill, and he is able to guard a variety of positions on defense as well.
