Sophomore ID Camp Team 13 and Team 19 Evaluations

Dayee has been a varsity player since 8th grade at Simley, and gave Tartan size inside last season on their way to state. Dayee has made obvious strides in his offensive make-up of his game, especially in the half-court, off the dribble, and even perimeter shooting. Dayee looked confident with the ball to go along with his already very good movement dexterity, which he's put on display since March of 2024 at our Prep Hoops Next Middle School Camp. Dayee's presence around the rim can't be ignored and overlooked as he blocks a number of shots at the rim from all comers and he is a very productive rebounder.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">August Zirnheldt is a six-foot-three-inch 2029 guard from Cretin-Derham Hall and MN Magic Trevor that should give the Raiders production this season off the bench with his perimeter shooting and knack to score the ball. The few times I saw Gus play for Magic on the Prep Hoops Circuit he almost always led them in scoring, making deep shots and being a creative finisher at the rim. Gus exhibits potential as a secondary ball handler/creator with his solid passing ability and he offers good size on the perimeter.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2848466' first='Zeke' last='Morris'] is a six-foot-one-inch 2029 Perham and [program_tooltip program_id='2076003' first='West' last='Central United'] guard. Morris is the lead ball handler at Perham and for West Central with ability to shoot from beyond the arc and keep his teammates involved with solid passing. </p>    <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-9-16 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kbosoo-9J78 </div></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='3654429' first='K'lani' last='Williams'] is a six-foot-three-inch 2029 Northfield and [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] wing that in the showcase 5v5 put the ball on the deck a number of times and just drove and scored. I think by the end of the game he had six times where he just squared up a defender and got to the rim for driving lay-up. Williams perimeter shot looks smooth although in the game I watched he didn't make any, but I've seen him a couple times playing his spring and summer and looks like a potential secondary scorer on the wing. His length and reach combined with size make him a threat defensively.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2387926' first='James' last='King'] is a six-foot 2029 Lakeville South and [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] guard. Nelson displayed range on his jump shot, and ran out in transition to make himself available for push ahead passes for easy scores. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2842170' first='Elliott' last='Thompson'] is a six-foot-one-inch 2029 Minnetonka guard that played AAU with Bearstail this past spring and summer. Thompson started for the Skippers as a freshman and played JV as an 8th grader. Thompson is a high-level passer, a skill he's shown since at least as a 6th grader. Thompson has improved as a perimeter shooter and has solid size for a guard on the perimeter.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='2983575' first='Marek' last='Nelson'] is a six-foot-one-inch 2029 Mora guard that played with the [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']. Nelson did well to push the ball on rebounds, make the right pass when pushing, and had a good general court IQ.</p>
