Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I think that the best way to describe my game is creative. I am a creative player, I like to play in transition and create plays for others as a point guard, but I am also a scorer, I can score at all three levels, on and off the dribble and I consider myself a threat from 30 feet away. My handles are probably one of the best parts of my game, my handles allows me to get to my spot to score.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a great mentality, I love to put in the work. It is not just the fact of getting better, but the fact that I enjoy working out and getting reps. Right now I am doing 4-5 sessions a day and I am really feeling the improvement. I am a person that loves to set goals, I put myself in challenging situations and I work everyday to achieve these challenges.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Last year I received a diploma in my old high school in Spain, the Honor Roll. I studied in the MYP system, the international system in an international school in Madrid, Spain. I was also part of the math club.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Right now, I am playing at DME academy, in Wisconsin. My team has a partnership with a school called St John's Northwestern Academies, where the system is made to create leaders of the future. I have only been here one month and a half but I can deftly feel all the skills that I am developing. Obviously, leadership is one of them, I can feel it on and off the court.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
In terms of basketball, I have gone through a lot. I am spanish and when I played in Spain I got cut from some of the best teams in the country because of my size. At that point it was hard to stay solid, but I kept working on my physique, mental strength and skills and now I am in one of the best programs, not in Spain, but in the United States.
What type of college are you looking for?
My main goal is to make it to a Division I college program. I would like to attend a college where I can get development, I am not guiding for how known or popular the college is, I want to go somewhere the coaching staff want me and want to develop my game. Somewhere where I can improve on and off the court, I do not care at all if it is a top 10 program in the country or not,
