Miller announced early that Marquette High was at the Warhawk Invitational to compete as he scored early and often to help the Hilltoppers take a 29-23 halftime lead over favored Homestead. He continued his assault on the basket in the second half en route to scoring 21 points. Miller is strong with the ball in his hands and can score over taller defenders with his strength and skill in the lane. He has been a key player for coach Casey Kowalewski’s squad the past two seasons and is averaging a team-best 12.6 points per game for the Hilltoppers.
