Johnson impressed with his discipline and understanding of spacing for Minnesota Fury . He was a reliable catch-and-shoot threat and created scoring opportunities by moving smartly without the ball. His ability to stretch the floor allowed his teammates to operate more freely in the paint. Johnson’s effort in transition and willingness to sprint into scoring positions stood out across day one.

Johnson and his 2028 MN Fury team played up this past weekend and took on a fellow Fury team on Sunday. Johnson is not the biggest player on the court, but he knows his strengths and how to exploit the defense using them. He is a pure sharpshooter and hit 5 threes in the first half. Three point shooting was Johnsons biggest strength, but his IQ is easy to notice as well. All throughout the game he would coach up his teammates, tell them how to play defense and force the offense a specific direction, etc. Very special trait for such a young player.
