Gil plays with a herky jerky style that makes it difficult for defnders to get a bead on him. He is a terrific scorer who can get to the rim off the drive, or finish in transition from the wing. He makes a top 20 appearance in the rankings, coming in as one of the top Combos in the class.

Gill was an 11th hour transfer, that may be what’s needed to put Gorman over the hump. The Cali native is one of the top overall players in the state reaching the top 20 in his initial appearance.

Gil isn’t really a fresh face as I saw him a few weeks ago at the Labor Day Tournament. He was suited up for Gorman this weekend, and looks like a nice addition to the Gaels. Gill made a couple of threes, showed a handle and was able to score by slashing to the rim.

Gill has a college ready frame, and is effective with the ball in his hands. The transfer from Venice, showed that he can score the ball when attacking downhill, and was able to create for himself in 1 v 1 situations.
