He uses that length to be an effective finisher on the offensive end, and not many players can contest his shots. While he needs to refine a few things, the upside is there. Defensively, he uses his reach to deter shooters and chases down rebounds.

Ashtyn Lazosky Ashtyn Lazosky 6'4" | SF/PF Bishop Gorman | 2028 State NV went on a few personal run’s over the weekend. Where he scored one bucket after another in the the paint. When he gets inside position, it’s very difficult for defenders to stop him. I also noticed him hustling to gather rebounds and made some good passes.

And he has a consistent shooting stroke, which allows him to connect on 3-pointers. Lazosky also makes a positive impact by coming down with rebounds and by disrupting shots on defense.

He also can collect rebounds fairly easily thanks to his height advantage. On offense, he can get it done near the cup or hit shots from the perimeter. All in all, he helps his team win and it’ll be great to see how he continues to develop these next few months.

Ashtyn Lazosky Ashtyn Lazosky 6'4" | SF/PF Bishop Gorman | 2028 State NV was all over the boards on Sunday. He got in good position and used his frame and long arms to secure the ball. Lazosky also did a bit of scoring, and showcased decent footwork to maneuver around defenders. On the other end of the court, he marked his man well and he effected attacker’s lay-up attempts.

He is a force to be reckoned with in the paint, and not many guys can contain him if he starts to get physical. Lazosky is a shooter as well, and displays a good stroke for a big man. If you’re looking to catch him play, he is with Vegas Elite this spring and summer.

He has a smooth looking jump shot and can stretch the floor by getting open beyond the arc. You can feed it to Lazosky the post too, and he will get to work. In order for him to move up even higher in the ranks he will need to become more agile, but his skill is evident.
