The Southwest Florida teams finished the event with a 1-4 record on the day. Prep Hoops Florida scouts Josh Cutler and Ross Van De Griek were on hand for the event. Here is who stood out:
MacGregor was efficient in a variety of ways, leading the way with a game-high 24 points in today’s 65-52 win over Charlotte in the Opening Game of the SWFL vs Everybody shootout. He was also named the MVP of the Game as he dished out five assists in the win as well.
Cornish recorded his second double-double in the first three games of the season, as he finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds in today’s 65-52 loss to Calvary Christian. He is leading the team in scoring averaging 18.0 points per game so far this season.
The 6-3 junior guard led all scorers with 22 points, including four made 3-pointers in today’s 91-58 win over Mariner. He was also getting his teammates involved adding six assists, including a pair to Mike Andino Mike Andino 6’0″ | PG Victory Christian Academy | 2024 State FL . Lanier was also the SWFL vs Everybody Game MVP in the win today.

Cason, a 6-2 point guard finished with 19 points and had 3 three-pointers in today’s 91-58 win over Mariner. He has scored in double figures in each of the team’s first four games this season for the Storm.
Highlights
The 6-5 freshman guard was dominant on the floor whether it was his scoring or his rebounding. He recorded his first double-double of the season finishing with a game-high 21 points and 13 rebounds in the 59-46 win over Canterbury (St. Petersburg). His ability to stretch the floor created a lot of scoring chances for the Cougars in their win tonight.
