Expert Analysis

The 6-7 sophomore guard does a great job when it comes to finishing around the rim with authority. Hammermeister can also shoot the ball well from the outside whether it’s off the bounce or off the catch as he has increased confidence it shooting from 3-point range. On the defensive side, he is very versatile where he can guard multiple positions as well as play with grit and toughness. Look for Hammermeister to have a stellar sophomore season as he’s already gaining interest from mid-major D-1 schools.

The 6-7 sophomore wing has one of the smoothest games I’ve seen for the upcoming sophomore class, as he can score on all three levels. He brings athleticism and length on both ends of the floor where he can be dominant on the glass. Hammermeister can often at times play the 2-guard position and shoot it from the perimeter at a respectable percentage. Hammermeister will look to play a big role for The Villages this upcoming season where they are led with a youthful core in the front court. Hammermeister could be the real deal prospect in this class as he could start reeling in some college interest.

Key Addition: Brisun Hammermeister 6-7 SF (2026). Hammermeister, A 6-7 wing has a knack where he can score across all three levels and is an above-average rebounder using his athletic frame to finish put-backs at the front of the rim. His ceiling continues to grow as he has turned his game into another gear on both ends of the floor where he can guard out on the perimeter as well as in the paint. Hammermeister’s length causes a lot of havoc for the opposition and can contest shots on the defensive end across all three scoring levels. His handles are underrated for his size as he has the mechanics of a guard when out on the floor.

The 6-7 rising sophomore small forward is still getting acclimated by his new teammates. He was aggressive to the basket and finishing strong around the rim. Hammermeister plays with a ton of length and can defend multiple positions at a high level. His ability to shoot consistently from the mid-range has also improved over the course of the summer. Huge upside for Hammermeister as he heads into his sophomore season.

The 6-5 freshman guard was dominant on the floor whether it was his scoring or his rebounding. He recorded his first double-double of the season finishing with a game-high 21 points and 13 rebounds in the 59-46 win over Canterbury (St. Petersburg). His ability to stretch the floor created a lot of scoring chances for the Cougars in their win tonight.
