The 6-0 senior point guard and Stetson University commit is one of the toughest point guards in the state where he can score at the front of the rim or on a dime. He is also an efficient passer when it comes to finding open teammates as he has a strong knack for getting his teammates involved. On the defensive end, MacGregor has solid footwork and has continued to improve his on-the-ball defense where he makes things tough for opposing guards to get by him. He also plays with a ton of confidence where his teammates feed off his energy and is a proven winner.

He’s crafty with the ball in his hands and makes eyebrow-raising passes. Only more hype and anticipation follow Macgregor into his senior season where he will play with a talented group of prospects at Sports Leadership & Management (SLAM). Macgregor is a physical guard on both ends of the floor that can score at will, rack up numbers in the assist column, and lock up the opposing guard.

Daniel MacGregor, A 6-1 senior guard who recently committed to Stetson University joins a loaded Sports Leadership & Management roster looking to get back into at least the Final Four this season. MacGregor brings a ton of strength and toughness to his game where he can impact the game scoring at the front of the rim as well as shooting from the mid-range. On the defensive end, he has a strong knack for making things difficult for opposing guards where he can cover a ton of ground as well as rebound well for his size. Look for MacGregor to play with more confidence as well as getting his new teammates involved often.

On the offensive end, he can score off the bounce inside the arc as well as at the front of the rim. He is a very crafty ball-handler who can initiate the offense where he doesn’t let the pressure phase him. MacGregor has shown a ton of confidence in his game since the start of his junior season. On the defensive end, MacGregor moves around exceptionally well and can guard on the interior as well as out on the perimeter at a high level.

6-1 PG (2024). The Stetson University commit has the ability to score in a variety of ways whether it’s attacking downhill or off the catch. MacGregor shows a lot of strength and toughness on the offensive end as he plays with a pure amount of physicality. On the defensive end, MacGregor has very good movement and has a knack for making havoc for opposing guards forcing them to take an off-balance shot. On the offensive end, MacGregor has a high IQ and knows when to shoot versus pass the ball to an open teammate.

MacGregor averaged 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in three games. MacGregor was at his best when attacking downhill towards the basket and finishing with contact around the rim.

The 6-1 point guard was the focal point for Clearwater Calvary Christian this past season as he averaged 21.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.3 steals per game. MacGregor just missed out on being nominated to the Prep Hoops Florida Class 3A All-State Team, but he took a big step as far as the recruitment process goes. MacGregor is playing with the Florida Rebels this spring and summer putting up big numbers including a 40-point performance against 1Family last month.
