While Josiah has a very good build he also has an on-court IQ higher than a lot of guards his age, with the ball in his hands he forces the defense to play at his pace. He is at his best when getting to the basket as he uses his large frame to stay composed while forcing defenders out of position, when at the basket he uses a variety of finishes. A simple way to describe Josiah’s game is smooth, he will be a player to look out for to have a big season at Cherokee Trail.

For his height, James has a quick first step off of the rip but has shown the most promise as a scorer off of the dribble where he has a good handle on the ball and some shifty crossovers. When pushing the pace on the fastbreak James looks great as he can create his own using his length to finish at the rim or uses good vision to find rim-running teammates.

On the offensive end, he is super quick and one of the harder guards in this class to stay in front of. Anthony does a good job getting to the rim and has shown potential to be a very good mid-range scorer. Anthony was a vital part of Douglas County’s team last year and had some solid minutes throughout their deep playoff run.
