As expected, Riehl is Mesa Ridge’s primary scoring option, an incredibly confident perimeter shooter off the catch or dribble, posting 25 points through his first two matchups. Few guards have his relentless motor, as he competes on every possession without regard for himself, flying all over for rebounds and loose balls.

Riehl’s constant energy within a winning context gives him pedigree for the Top-10, repeatedly bringing success wherever he goes. A premier three point shooter all while idshing out plenty of attempts at the rim, Mesa Ridge should be set up for another deep playoff run in their third straight year.

Among the few guards from this list, Riehl has a high motor that never seems to end. Active flying around the floor on help side contests or point of attack recoveries, opponents are never quite free from the two-time state champion.

Tearing up opponents along the perimeter, Riehl converted numerous threes this weekend, bolstering 7070 yet again in their 17U Championship run. An impressive lead guard who may be deployed as a downhill playmaker or shotmaker off the catch, there are few holes in his offensive game.

One of the winningest athletes in the state, Riehl has constantly provided unmatched energy on either end of the floor. Creating chaos in passing lanes or the point of attack, he is an impressive competitor each game. A talented shotmaker behind the arc, he has repeatedly shown value rising up into shots off of movement or ball screens. Given how far out he stretches the floor, opponents are often forced to go over on screens, further opening up the driving lanes. This follows up recognition from multiple local and out of state events, alongside back to back state titles with Mesa Ridge.

Bryce was one of the best shooters I saw all weekend long. The Colorado guard gets great elevation on his shot, and has a consistent release that just shows the amount of reps he gets off in practice. Against Davis Brothers Elite he got into a rhythm where just about every time he touched the ball he was putting three points on the board. With his team trailing Bryce drained four straight 3’s to bring things back level for his team at one point.

Another pesky defender who seems to have limitless endurance, Riehl duals as one of the state’s best perimeter defenders. One of the premier two-way names in his class, the guard competes every possession, pivotal in creating chaos on the defensive end through intense ball pressure. This is all on top of elite shotmaking off of movement, while remaining a durable interior scorer.

is a game changer when he’s on the floor. His energy combined with his shot making abilities is what gives him a competitive advantage. Just when it seemed as if he was slowing down, he’d hit multiple consecutive shots in transition. He’s a flame on the court, and good luck guarding him as his bag gets deep!

Following his second straight title victory, the guard is a pest on both ends of the floor. One of the premier three point shooters in the state, Riehl maintains consistent shooting multiple feet behind the arc. He is a quick twitch, high motor playmaker with a knack for making the right decision under chaotic circumstances. Going 54-6 over the last two seasons at Mesa Ridge, Riehl is among the winningest programs in the state.
