We're less than a month out from the Expo at Gold Crown on Sunday, September 13th. This is your chance to test yourself against 2026 & 2027 talent from across the state as we all head out under one roof. I will be on-site to evaluate how your game translates in a showcase setting and get an early read heading into the season. Rankings will be updated shortly after, using this as a key baseline.

Demari is a player that we have gone back and forth on at Prep Hoops Colorado, and I need to see more of. I've seen him pop, but have also seen him coast, but the thing about it is, at his best, there may not be 17 players better than him in his class, we just want to see that consistency. This year, I think we will see it for Eaglecrest as he's going to be given the keys to do whatever it is that he wants, and I believe the production will follow. He's an explosive do-it-all guard with high upside. He scores at all 3 levels and cannot be stopped in iso, and we hope that he comes out to the Expo and puts that on display. He can sway us with a big showing and Fall league to move up a couple of spots.

Kamrin had his moments as a sophomore as he got in the game and started to pop as the season progressed. He's a guard who attacks the paint, runs the offense, and was a very active defender that made opposing guards work. He now steps into a situation where he will be asked to do a bit more offensively and add pieces to his game on a Falcon team that everyone will be gunning for. This is a spot for him to explore his game, have those moments where he turns defense into offense, and runs the passing lanes for fastbreak opportunities. This is a spot for him to show a bit more so that we can firmly put him on our radar.

Lane had a stellar sophomore campaign as he put up 7.4 points and 4.4 rebounds as a big that protects the paint defensively, operates inside offensively but can step out and shoot the 3 ball as well. Hope he does a bit more of that. He was part of the core and played well as a sophomore so he has high hopes his junior year as Falcon comes into the year as one of the teams to watch. Individually, this will be a place to see how he fares with the other forwards across the state. Want to see if it translates in a showcase setting where he can show that he's one of the top forwards in the class.

Dorsey is a 6'2 slasher with high upside that we've seen have his moments at a few of our events. He's shown off his IQ with smart reads and knowing when to cut for easy scoring opportunities, getting out in transition for outlet catches and finishes as well as getting steals where he's dangerous in the open court. Now we want to see him put it all on display with playing with and against some of the top players. He's a player that could very well make a jump with how we anticipate the year going and if he's able to make an impact at the showcase, we can jumpstart that. Hope to see him come out and prove himself.

Mason is a player that we're high on heading into his junior year, and we want to see if he's able to reach new heights with his play. Mason was one of the few players to lead his team in points in the state in his sophomore season and will be tasked with carrying the scoring load yet again. He made 2nd Team All-Conference as a sophomore and has bigger aspirations. We do think that he's up for the task as the 6'4 wing is a three-level scorer with the mentality to take over. A big day at the event might allow him to make a big jump as we want to see what he looks like in this kind of setting.

Susi is a skilled 6'5 athlete who shoots it well, rebounds well, and is an above-average passer that can get the offense going as well. He's a hard worker who is working himself back into playing shape after an injury, but is showing that he'll be able to get back to it. He's a fierce competitor that we're anxious to see if he's able to pick up where he left off as Horizon can surely use him this year. He can come to reintroduce himself and show that he's back.
