Brady Hussey Brady Hussey 6'2" | CG Covington Catholic | 2024 State KY , Covington Catholic – Cov Cath is one of the schools who almost never plays young players on varsity and Hussey was no exception. Coming off a Freshman year where he played Freshman and JV for the Colonels, Brady will look to carve himself out a varsity role with one of the preseason favorites to win it all at Rupp.
Eli Johnson Eli Johnson 6'1" | PG Pikeville | 2024 State KY , Menifee County – A 2023 reclass, Johnson had a big Sophomore season last year and will look to repeat that performance and then some in his bonus Sophomore year. Menifee County limped to a 1-24 record last season but with some development and a big year out of Eli, they could close in on double figure wins in 2022.
Jay Rose Jay Rose 6'4" | SG Madison Southern | 2024 State KY , Madison Southern – Another reclass from 2023, Rose is a skilled wing who can also play on the ball periodically. Jay is a good shooter who can be a very efficient scorer when he doesn’t try to force too many bad shots. The recent decision by Trent DeVries to go to college instead of come back to Southern opens up more minutes and shots for Rose.
Braylon Hinton Braylon Hinton 6'4" | SF Tates Creek | 2024 State KY , Harrison County – An under the radar player in the class, Hinton has all the tools and potential you look for as an impact player this year for the Breds but he’ll need to show that he can be more aggressive and play with a mean streak to reach the levels he is capable of. Harrison is a dark horse in the 10th and Hinton’s development could go a long way towards helping them.
Kyran Tilley Kyran Tilley 6'1" | PG Evangel Christian | 2024 State KY , Evangel Christian – Another 2023 reclass, the bonus year should help Tilley continue to elevate his game and get stronger. The Evangel backcourt will be interesting to monitor as Tilley and Spalding are similar players and both are best with the ball in their hands. Kyran should be a formidable weapon for a roster than struggled to score at times this summer.
