He possesses a consistent floater that he utilizes to score in traffic around the basket. He delivers accurate and timely passes that generate scoring opportunities. His athleticism allows him to gather rebounds and take off in transition before the defense can recover.

Tilly had a great performance vs Trinity pushing and controlling tempo, getting guys shots and carrying the scoring load when he had to. I loved him defensively as he played with great instincts and his quickness allowed him to get to 50/50 balls. Has 3pt range when he has time, but he was at his best getting to the paint and making plays. Big time player.

The other half of the Evangel backcourt, Kyran is an athletic scoring point guard who is a very good defender. Tilley is capable of making a whole highlight reel on any given night. He should be a scholarship player in college.

returned from injury off the bench and while he made an impact, Tilley was the guy who made them go on Monday night. Making shots off the catch and bounce, Tilley was getting to his spots after making dribble moves to create space and has a quick release. One of the top unsigned seniors in Kentucky, Tilley had a monster dunk in transition to cap off a dominant performance as he led Evangel Christian with 22 points. A clear scholarship target, Tilley should be a priority for regional Division II and NAIA programs, currently with one offer from Georgetown College, I’d expect more to come calling if Tilley keeps up this level of play.

Kyran is one of the best on-ball defenders in the state, regardless of class. Tilley is a good athlete who plays hard and has a high IQ. He holds an offer from Georgetown College and should see more offers coming his way. He’s a D1 talent.

Tilley has an edge to him that you see in point guards like Chris Paul in the sense that he’s not looking to make friends once he steps on the court. Nobody in Kentucky has had as good of highlights lately as Tilley has. An explosive athlete who knows how to run a team and will sit down and guard opposing points, Kyran is playing at a high level right now. He can shoot it well enough to keep defenses honest but he really excels at getting paint touches and making great reads with the ball in his hands.

Throughout this past weekend, Tilley did a good job containing opposing ball handlers and rotating in help defense. On one play, Tilley moved his feet with his arms and legs out to deny any potential driving angles and stuck with the quick and twitchy ball handler to get the block on the step back jumper. Tilley’s straight line drives were extremely difficult for the defense to stop as they typically led to a finish at the rim or a trip to the free-throw line. While getting down hill on one possession we saw Tilley use a strong, prompt pick up on his drive to take the reaching defender out of the picture for a finish at the rim.
