Pablo is having a really big AAU season so far and was recently named to the Kentucky Junior All Star team. Strong and athletic, Molima is able to attack the rim off the bounce and tries to dunk everything on offense. There’s not a ton of stretch to his game right now but Pablo has a solid handle and some “go to” moves in his bag.

A monster weekend for Molima with Moss Elite as his motor and athleticism were on full display. One of the more athletic bigs at the tournament, few players matched Molima’s rebounding and dunk totals from the weekend. Making some significant improvements from last summer, Molima could attack with two dribbles in a straight line and was quicker off his feet. Defensively Molima takes up a lot of space in the paint and when he’s in the right position to protect the rim does a nice job contesting. A forward who scholarship programs should be all over this summer, Molima is one of a handful of talented Kentucky prospects on this Moss Elite 17 U squad.

The one thing you can’t say about Pablo Molima is that he doesn’t play hard. He plays harder than any kid I’ve ever scouted, and the skill is following. Pablo has gone from a raw athletic big man that rebounds to someone that can go get his team a bucket. He’s a beast on the low block that is powerful finishing at the rim. He tries to dunk everything. Full effort on the defensive end of the floor also. Rebounds well. Versatile defender that is a fluid athlete and is able to guard on the perimeter while still being a big time rim protector.

Pablo Molima Pablo Molima 6'8" | C/PF Evangel Christian | 2027 State KY finishes hard at the rim, playing above it and throwing down dunks while making a strong impact in the paint as both a scorer and rebounder. He works well alongside guards, moving effectively inside to find openings, catch passes, and finish plays. He uses his length and athleticism to his advantage on both ends, protecting the rim with shot-blocking ability and creating extra possessions with his activity on the offensive glass, making him a consistent presence around the basket.

Molina has been the veteran on a very young Evangel roster for the last two years. This summer, Pablo is likely to be a difference maker for a Moss Elite squad that has a lot of nice pieces on the roster. A rim running big man who can block shots and rebound, Pablo could be one of the biggest sleeper prospects in Kentucky heading into this AAU season.

Averaging 15 and 10 through 12 games, Pablo is a dominant post presence on one of the youngest teams in the state. A back to the basket scorer who continues to evolve on the offensive end, Molina is slowly moving past just being a dunker and rim protector and is showing he can face up and attack off the dribble as well.

Although he didn’t suit up for Evangel last season, Pablo Molima Pablo Molima 6'8" | C/PF Evangel Christian | 2027 State KY has generated plenty of excitement. College programs such as Furman, Liberty, and Marshall have already shown interest, and it’s easy to see why. Molina plays with relentless energy and a physical edge, attacking the glass and defending with length that makes him disruptive around the rim. Offensively, he’s comfortable finishing with either hand, has reliable footwork in the post, and isn’t afraid to rise up for a dunk. His blend of motor, size, and touch makes him a promising prospect to watch.

As mentioned previously, I’ve not been able to get eyes on Molina yet but all the buzz is very positive around Pablo and he could be much better than 25th in this class, long term.

Molina did not play at Evangel this past season but is playing this summer with Indiana Elite and is expected to play for the Eagles next season. As a complete unknown, Pablo enters the 2027 rankings at 25 just as a placeholder. He could raise up the list or fall once our staff is able to get eyes on him for an extended time.
