Probably the highest individual mover in this update. Cleaver goes from 102 to 31 in this update and is a good player to bet on, long term. Blessed with a big wingspan and some natural skills, Michael is starting to “figure it out” for North Hardin and is in position to make a big impact in his Senior season. Cleaver is the type of prospect who goes the Juco route out of high school then becomes a highly sought after prospect over his Juco career.

North Hardin and Moss Elite share a 2027 duo that has won a lot of games together recently. I was most impressed by Cleaver on Friday with his natural movement ability with or without the ball in his hands pops on the court. Cleaver covers a ton of ground in transition and can change directions quickly on the ball. Cleaver had a couple nice plays in the pick and roll as a ball handler as he found roll men and cutters with timely passes. Recently offered by Kentucky Christian, Cleaver helped North Hardin go 4-0 this weekend and surely improved his stock.

I was impressed with Cleaver as an athlete, defender and in transition. In the first quarter Cleaver had multiple layups off long strides to the rim in transition or attacking closeouts. Cleaver also scored off a cut and quickly advanced the basketball in transition off steals in the zone defense North Hardin ran. If Cleaver can become a consistent shooter from 3-point range it will really improve his ceiling, he did knock down a key 3-pointer in the second half when North Hardin needed momentum. Impressive wing who will be added to our 2027 rankings during the next update.
