Similarly to Green and Oldham County, everything at Madison Southern runs through Rose. Thus far, it’s paying major dividends. Jay leads the Eagles in nearly every statistical category, averaging 24 points and 8 rebounds per game with shooting splits of 61/45/78. At this point, Rose should be the front runner for 11th region player of the year.

Rose was the catalyst for Madison Southern dictating tempo, making tough plays and also leading them in scoring. He was ultra aggressive driving the ball and initiating contact. He did a really good job playing thru contact and not letting it affect him. He was at his best getting rebounds and going in transition. Tough player who is one of the more competitive players I have seen.

Rounding out the top ten is another player whose stock could see a big boost this AAU season. A three level scorer, Rose is one of the best vertical leapers in this 2024 class. When his jumper is falling from deep, Jay is a very tough cover for any opposing defense. Jay is a breakout candidate in the upcoming AAU season.
