2026 VKTRY All-American Camp: 2028 Combo Guards to Know

One of the biggest takeaways from the 2026 VKTRY All-American Camp was the depth of talent at the combo guard position in the 2028 class. Whether it was dynamic shot-makers, physical downhill attackers, or versatile playmakers capable of filling multiple backcourt roles, there was no shortage of high-level performances. Against some of the nation's top competition, these guards separated themselves and proved why they're among the names to know moving forward.    Simply put, Mitchell was one of the best shot makers over the course of all three days, and made defenses pay with his vision and IQ once they keyed in with him. A crafty guard who can get his own off the dribble, Mitchell looked equally comfortable creating offense for his teammates and made the right read consistently. Seemingly never out of control, Mitchell was one of the most consistent producers at camp.     The thought since he hit the high school ranks is that Odugbela would end up one of the elite members of the 2028 class, and that's starting to come to fruition. A long and lanky guard with a quiet demeanor and killer instinct, Odugbela had stretches where he took over camp with his ability to create off the bounce as well as hit shots on the move. Playing with a deep St. Andrew's (RI) squad this season, look for the national breakout to come for the Rhode Island native.     After a strong showing at the 16U level of the MHC this season, it wasn't surprising to see Walton make the trip up from Alabama and hold his own against some of the East Coast's best in his class. A smooth shooter who can elevate in the mid-range or knock down shots from deep, Walton was big in his team making a run towards a camp championship. D2 programs would be wise to get eyes on him now, as he's currently flying under the radar.     There wasn't a better athlete in camp than Lindsay, who easily hit the 12'2" mark on high jump during combine testing. On the floor, he electrified the gym with several highlight reel dunks, and showcased an improved shot from deep throughout the weekend. If that continues moving in the right direction, look out.     Stone was one of the most consistent scorers in attendance, both knocking down threes and getting to the rim and finishing. Clearly wired to put the ball in the basket, he put up points in bunches. As he continues to round his game out he will be a player to continue to keep tabs on.     Salisbery turned in one of the best weekends of any player in attendance. The 6-foot-3 guard was downright explosive attacking the rim and was able to get to his spots and knock down shots as well. A quick first step, good positional size, and an understanding of when to score and when to find an open teammate, he had everything working for him en route to a Top 24 All-Star game nod.     One of the more intriguing long term guys in camp, Lewis' ability to defend multiple positions as well as create for teammates at his size is truly impressive. He was at his best when he put pressure on the rim and was able to finish through defenders.
