Cameron delivered one of the strongest impressions throughout the day, as he made a case for one of the best prospects in camp. He was a physical, high-motor wing who consistently scored at all three levels and used his strength to overpower smaller guards. His wingspan and athleticism supported an active defensive presence on and off the ball, and he rebounded on both ends. That is a substantial two-way profile because his impact was not tied solely to shot-making. As the matchups become stronger, the next layer is sustaining that same control and production against players who can better absorb his physicality.

After a strong showing at the 16U level of the MHC this season, it wasn’t surprising to see Walton make the trip up from Alabama and hold his own against some of the East Coast’s best in his class. A smooth shooter who can elevate in the mid-range or knock down shots from deep, Walton was big in his team making a run towards a camp championship. D2 programs would be wise to get eyes on him now, as he’s currently flying under the radar.
