TJ was one of the most intriguing prospects at the camp exceptionally long and athletic wing who can impact the game in a variety of ways. His versatility stood out, whether it was finishing above the rim, defending multiple positions, or creating off the bounce. Byrd is an explosive athlete and a constant rim-running threat in transition, while also showcasing a solid handle and emerging offensive skill set. His combination of size, length, and athleticism makes him a nightmare matchup on both ends of the floor. Following his standout performance, Coach Kennedy and his staff wasted no time in extending an offer. Byrd has all the tools to be a high-major prospect and is already establishing himself as one of the premier players in Alabama’s 2027 class.
