Depth at Wing Position Headlines 2029 Class

in the process.  Remember this is a prospect ranking.  Not necessarily what they are right now, but what we project long term.  These are the top 2029 Wings that have established themselves early in name since coming into high school.  After a slow start to the season he found himself at the Pekin Holiday Tournament and has never looked back.  High-motor small forward that impacts rebounding, defending, and scoring.  His quickness in the paint along with his length makes him very impactful on the glass and guarding all over the floor.  Slashing scorer that excels in transition.  The swing missing most of his freshman year due to injury.  At the state finals he was a huge boost for the Flyers winning state.  That momentum continued through the spring and summer with both Brad Beal Elite and East St. Louis.  Super athletic two guard that can play some on the ball as well.  High level perimeter defender that brings a joy to the game.  Offensively he is a shot creator both off the will be worked out later, but Billingsley was a monster with the Fire when we saw him in the spring and July.  Jumbo wing that brings a great frame and ELITE athleticism to the table.  Covers so much ground on the defensive end while blocking shots inside and out along with picking off passes taking them the other way in transition where he is a beast.  Physical rebounder, catches lobs, and school team.  Lengthy wing that continues to grow each time we see him.  He has always been an elite level perimeter shooter who pours them at a high rate off movement and spotting up.  Quick and consistent release on the shot.  He is also a very good athlete that plays with quickness and bounce scoring on slashes.  Quality ball handler that is a solid connective passer and capable wing the PHI Freshman Showcase.  The quick twitched athleticism is the first that always stands out with the St. Laurence.  He has burst with the rock in his hands getting to the rack.  When he is assertive pressing the issue and putting pressure on the rim he is one of the best in the class as he is a tough cover with his size and speed combination.  Solid connective passer and defends continued to progress as a plus three point shooter that was lights out for stretches when we saw him at a couple different events.  Can handle the rock as well for acrobatic layups and moves well off heights.  Shooters with size always play at that is what this wiry wing brings to the table.  Super quick release being able to knock down shots in bunches pulling up or off movement.  Quality athlete
