One of the smoothest players at the ID camp today. Lemons continued to show why he is one of the top 2029 prospects in the state. A perimeter threat who can knock it down off the catch or bounce. Shows confidence and comfortability going into his shot. Attacks well off of dribble drive action getting to the cup and changing speeds to get an on ball defender off balance. Had a great wrap around pass after a hard baseline drive for an assist for 3 while has his eyes are up to share it effectively in multiple other phases. Defensively Lemons provides quickness and anticipation to help create turnovers and rush the offense. Last but not least let’s not forget about the bounce that he brings. He can get up quickly for boarding opportunities or to finish above the rim. After a year of being on our radar and popping out at the Freshman showcase last year, I continue to like where the trajectory is going of the wing from St. Laurence.

Lemons immediately grabs your attention with his athleticism, physicality, and communication. He came out hot from the perimeter, showing confidence as a shooter and could also bump inside with the best of them. He is comfortable absorbing contact and slashes well to the rim. Lemons was also a vocal presence on the floor, displaying the leadership and communication skills that coaches will want to see. As the competition level increases, the biggest challenge for Lemons will be recognizing he can trust his teammates and doesn’t have to do it all himself. This is a special player whose skillset can shine at the next level.

Lemons is a prospect that has been on our radar since we saw him a year ago at the PHI Freshman Showcase.  The quick twitched athleticism is the first that always stands out with the St. Laurence.  He has burst with the rock in his hands getting to the rack.  When he is assertive pressing the issue and putting pressure on the rim he is one of the best in the class as he is a tough cover with his size and speed combination.  Solid connective passer and defends multiple spots on the perimeter.

6’4″ shooting guard from St Laurence that really excites me. He’s already very bouncy and versatle with plenty of room to keep growing. Came flying down the lane for a put-back miss at one point. Using long strides to attack the rim in the process. Already a very active defender who used his length to create turnovers and tip passes in this game. The ceiling is incredibly high.

Saw Lemons game for the first time at our exposure event last Fall and the young prospect from St. Laurence continued to impress this weekend. Caught team’s early morning Sunday contest and squad got off to a slow start but he provided a spark plug throughout. A lengthy and long athletic wing at this point in young career. Knocked down a couple threes to keep team’s momentum within offensive flow. Shows above the rim pop with getting free on fast breaks and slamming one home. Has plus bounce around the hoop. Added a couple blocks on interior while contesting shots above perimeter and helped create turnovers with anticipation. Team grabbed first place to finish weekend. Continuing to like the upside here.
