These players arrived at UNC Team Camp with plenty of attention already surrounding their names, but they showed why the buzz continues to grow. From expanded offensive skill sets to improved physicality, leadership and consistency, each prospect took another step forward. Their strong performances not only reinforced expectations but also highlighted the development that could make them even bigger impact players heading into the upcoming high school season.    Mitchell has not lost a step and his athleticism and ability to play above the rim continue to separate him from the competition. At UNC Team Camp he showcased much more than just his scoring ability, displaying excellent court vision and playmaking instincts as he consistently found teammates in scoring positions. He proved he can impact the game as both a facilitator and a scorer, making the right reads throughout the weekend. Mitchell was a pest applying constant pressure on opposing ball handlers and creating turnovers. Those defensive stops often turned into exciting transition opportunities where he thrives. His all around impact will be a major key to Cherokee Trail's success this season     Brown looked extremely comfortable with the ball in his hands throughout the weekend and consistently came through with big plays for Eaglecrest. His ability to get into the paint, draw multiple defenders and find open teammates on the perimeter was impressive, showing off his strong playmaking skills and basketball IQ. While he created plenty of opportunities for others, he was also aggressive in looking for his own offense. Brown scored the ball at a high level, knocking down shots from all areas of the floor and proving to be a true three level threat. His confidence, decision making and scoring ability made him one of the more impactful guards of the weekend     Williams delivered the steady, high level play that has become expected from him and showed he is more than capable of carrying Chaparral when other stars are not on the floor. He played with excellent pace throughout the weekend, never looking rushed and consistently getting to his spots on the court. Whether he was attacking the basket, finishing through contact or knocking down pull up jumpers, Williams displayed poise and confidence with the ball in his hands. His calm demeanor helped set the tone for his team, and he embraced a leadership role by guiding and encouraging the younger players around him. His presence was invaluable and a major reason for Chaparral's success     Waithe-Cunningham came through with several big plays throughout the weekend for Liberty and continued to prove that his size is a major matchup problem for opposing guards. His combination of length, strength and ball handling ability allowed him to dictate the pace and create advantages for his team. He made smart decisions with the basketball, showing patience and control while consistently making the right read. Whether it was delivering a timely pass to an open teammate or using his size to get past defenders, he found ways to impact the game. Once he got into the lane he was especially effective, finishing strong at the rim and converting tough scoring opportunities     Boykin was one of the more steady performers of the weekend, looking noticeably stronger and more physical than when we last saw him. He embraced contact and played with a level of toughness that consistently put pressure on opposing defenses. Offensively he appeared to have the ultimate green light and made the most of his scoring opportunities, attacking with confidence and efficiency whenever he looked to score. His footwork and positioning in the paint were particularly impressive, allowing him to create quality looks and finish around the basket. On the defensive end those same traits made him a difficult matchup, as he used his strength, awareness and positioning to impact the game on both sides of the floor for Columbine
