These were my overall standouts from my 3 days in Worcester at NEPSAC Scholastic Showcase. These prospects bolstered their stock with their play and hopefully they can build off of their performances headed into summer.

Rodrigues's game jumps off the page thanks to his impressive athleticism and ability to play above the rim. He can climb the ladder for highlight-reel finishes and brings an exciting element to the game whenever he is on the floor. Beyond his athletic tools, Rodrigues is also a threat from behind the three-point line, and when he catches fire, he is capable of becoming a true microwave scorer. He has no issues creating offense off the dribble and can generate points in a variety of ways. I also like how he consistently finds ways to secure rebounds, using his athleticism and instincts to impact the game on the glass. He makes the game look easy. Defensively, his blend of length and quickness allows him to jump passing lanes and come up with steals. With his combination of athletic ability, scoring upside, and two-way versatility, Rodrigues is a prospect I believe could burst onto the scene this summer if he continues to produce at a high level.

The smooth-shooting forward enjoyed a breakout scholastic period, putting together multiple games in which he connected on several three-pointers and showcased his ability to stretch the floor. His shooting touch makes him a dangerous weapon from the perimeter, and he continues to grow more confident in that role. Defensively, his length is a major asset, making it difficult for opponents to complete passes and reducing the time and space available for shooters to get clean looks off. I would like to see him stay home a bit more on defense and avoid biting on ball fakes, as that will allow him to maximize his defensive impact. Offensively, he also showed good awareness by feeding the post and making the right reads from the perimeter. With his combination of size, shooting ability, and upside, he is a prospect whose stock should continue to rise as he develops. Should be priority at the LM+/MM- level.

Pierce exploded from beyond the arc over the weekend, connecting on several three-pointers in one of the games I watched and showcasing the type of shooting ability that can change a game in a hurry. He possesses a college-ready frame, and his physical presence allows him to take up space and impact the game on both ends of the floor. Defensively, Pierce was active in passing lanes and came up with steals that helped generate offense. He also showed a strong understanding of where his teammates were on the floor, consistently finding shooters and slashers in positions to succeed. One of the things I appreciate most about Pierce is his confidence. He never hesitates to let shots fly, even after a few misses, and that mentality is essential for a high-level shooter. I want to see him improve on getting his hips and legs a step or two faster. With several Division I programs already tracking his progress, it is easy to see why there is growing interest. I have been impressed with the strides Pierce has made over the last year and the corner he has turned as a prospect.

Zo was a two-way menace for his Hotchkiss squad and consistently found ways to impact the game on both ends of the floor throughout the weekend. I liked how he was able to convert scoring opportunities in a variety of ways, showcasing a well-rounded offensive skill set. He spaced the floor effectively from beyond the arc, scored with his in-between game in the half-court, finished inside, and routinely got to the foul line by staying aggressive. Defensively, Zo was just as impressive, serving as a vocal communicator and quarterbacking the defense as its anchor. He is very switchable and is able to cover different positions. His agility stands out as well, as he moves exceptionally well for his size and covers ground with ease. The combination of his offensive versatility, defensive presence, and leadership makes him an invaluable piece for his team.

Rogers went unconscious with his scoring ability throughout the weekend, knocking down tough shot after tough shot and proving he can heat up in a hurry. He has the ability to get a bucket in a matter of seconds and is a threat to score from virtually anywhere on the floor. Leave him open from beyond the arc, and he will make defenses pay, as his perimeter shooting is one of the most dangerous aspects of his game. Rogers also spent plenty of time at the foul line, using his quick first step to blow by defenders and put pressure on the defense. I liked how he was able to create separation for himself, allowing him to get to his spots and generate quality looks. As he continues to develop, I would like to see him play off two feet more consistently when attacking the basket, which could help him finish through contact and maintain better balance in traffic. Rogers is a name that should continue to gain significant traction as he gets older, given his natural scoring instincts and offensive firepower.

Delves has an outstanding feel for the game and consistently displays a strong pulse whenever he steps onto the floor. Time and time again, he puts his teammates in positions to succeed, delivering the ball to the right spots and creating easy scoring opportunities. He is also a threat to score inside the arc, finding a variety of ways to string together points and operating almost like an artist when creating offense. I really like how he turns the corner in the half-court and remains composed under pressure, never allowing defenders to speed him up. Delves does an excellent job controlling the tempo with the ball in his hands and making smart decisions throughout the game. He also contributes on the glass, showing a willingness to rebound and impact the game in multiple facets. His blend of poise, playmaking, and scoring ability makes him a highly effective floor general.
