Burton got some valuable varsity experience in the backcourt for Penn as a freshman and is now ready to take on a larger role as a sophomore. He was excellent against both Oak Hill and South Bend Riley on Saturday at Super Hoops. The 5'9” guard is so quick with the ball in his hands, has it on a string when attacking the basket, and does such a good job of finishing against bigger defenders. His combination of downhill explosiveness and change of pace is impressive considering he is just a rising sophomore. Expect to hear a lot about Burton this season for the Kingsmen.

It was good to see this 6'3” guard from Batesville High School play twice in a 24-hour span after not getting to see him at all in the spring due to a wrist injury. Hughes played very well once again at Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday showcasing his impressive skill level in the backcourt. The smooth, left-handed guard is a very good shooter from the perimeter but can also create for himself and others off of the dribble. He has proven to be a very good and willing passer in our recent viewings. Look for him to become one of the most sought-after small college prospects over the course of the rest of the summer.

Typically known as a knockdown three-point shooter, Jankowski showed off his skills off of the dribble on Saturday at Super Hoops. The 6'0” guard made some excellent passes playing off of ballscreens and drove it against closeouts to a floater a couple of times. He attracts a lot of attention on the perimeter due to his shooting ability so having that ability to score in the paint or makes plays for others will really help round out his offensive game.

Johnson is the perfect addition to a Delta team that has already advanced to three consecutive Class 3A North Semi-States. He is a guy who can create offense for himself and turning nothing into something. The long, athletic, 6'3” guard is so fluid in transition and does a great job of slicing through the defense and scoring up at the rim off of the bounce. He has fit in well with Delta this summer so far and should be a major piece of what will be one of the preseason favorites in Class 3A.

Another prospect that we saw both at the IBCA Top 100 on Friday night and then again Saturday morning at Super Hoops, Lang played very well in the 8:00 a.m. game that we watched. He is a strong, 6'0” guard with a lot of ball skill. Lang can shoot it well from three-point range when he is playing off of the ball or create his own shot in the mid-range when serving as the primary ball handler. His intermediate range finishing ability really stood out on Saturday. The rising senior from Trinity Lutheran does a good job of playing off of two feet which helps him as a passer as well.

This 5'9” guard continues to prove himself as one of the top pure scorers in Indiana's rising senior class. He was outstanding once again on Saturday at Super Hoops. Parker creates separation so well off of the dribble, shoots it well both from beyond the arc and in the mid-range, and can make plays for his teammates when attacking the basket. He is going to be the focal point of everything South Bend Riley does offensively this season and should put up some big numbers. Grace has already offered, and I would expect more Crossroads League schools to get involved in his recruitment.

Oak Hill was dicing up Penn in the game that we watched at Super Hoops on Saturday and Tonagel, their rising senior point guard, was a big part of it. He shot it from three-point range, sliced his way through the defense for some tough finishes inside, and consistently hit the roll man for some nice assists. His court vision and passing ability is at as high of a level as any guard in Indiana's Class of 2027. Paired with his rising sophomore brother in the backcourt, the Tonagel's are going to be incredibly hard to stop at the Class 2A level.

Fresh off of playing a big role for the Class 1A State Runner-Up, Wood has now stepped into an even larger role as a rising junior at Triton. The 6'0" guard is a talented shot-maker showcasing his ability to create his own shot in the mid-range, knock in three-pointers when playing off of the ball, and displayed some body control when finishing around the rim. Wood poured in 30 points in a later game on Saturday at Super Hoops as well.
