Fresh off of playing a big role for the Class 1A State Runner-Up, Wood has now stepped into an even larger role as a rising junior at Triton. The 6’0″ guard is a talented shot-maker showcasing his ability to create his own shot in the mid-range, knock in three-pointers when playing off of the ball, and displayed some body control when finishing around the rim. Wood poured in 30 points in a later game on Saturday at Super Hoops as well.

. Wood has been averaging a little over 12 points per game for the Trojans and, by many accounts, feels like the main X-factor for Triton in its matchup vs. Barr-Reeve. He is a good athlete with great elevation on his jump shot, creative finishing ability, and a smooth outside stroke. He is really only getting started in his development as a player and has already gained valuable experience from a state finals run.

Wood had a solid freshman season in the rotation for a Triton High School team that reached the Class 1A North Semi-State. Now, as a sophomore, the 6’0″ guard will be ready to step into a larger role for a team that should once again be very competitive at the 1A level. He is a good athlete with elevation on his jump shot, creative finishing ability, and a smooth outside stroke. Look for him to put up some big scoring numbers over the next few seasons.

Versatile offensive piece that can really shoot it. Ability to play both guard spots, but was more comfortable off the ball running off screens in catch and shoot situations. Smooth release with a quick trigger and good elevation on the jumper and he was burning the nets all day. He was vocal on the defensive end while also being able to stay in front of his man and make it difficult for them.

This sharpshooter from Triton High School made a name for himself as a freshman at the varsity level. The 6’0″ guard can really get it going from beyond the arc and has enough of an athletic pop to score it from all over the floor. He should breakout even more as a sophomore and we will get a chance to see him up close at the Sophomore ID Camp.
