Braylon made his debut with [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] this weekend, and is making an instant impact for them. After scoring 30+ ppg during his junior season, Braylon is providing an extra scoring punch in the Heat backcourt. After trailing by double figures to start the second half against [program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy'], Braylon scored four times in a few minutes to help his team rally and lead them to a comeback win. So dangerous getting downhill where he can throw down dunks in the open floor or hang in the air for difficult finishes in traffic.

Eli's shot went a little cold in the second half of the game I watched, but his first half alone was enough to get him on this list. Eli is one of the best pure shooters in the state, and in-state teams seem to know that. Throughout the game as defenders were chasing him around the arc, Eli was constantly getting guys in the air with shot fakes to then make plays off the dribble. If they closed out too slow he would simply get off his shot with a quick release and see three points go on the board. His passing also stood out as he was zipping cross-court passes to open shooters with impressive speed that didn't give the defense any chance to react. He did all of this while playing up at the 17u level.

Fury fell behind early on as they struggled to contain Team Warwick's massive frontcourt, but Nolan ended up stepping up and coming up big for them down the stretch. He wasn't afraid to play physical while giving up height and weight down on the block, and did a great job of positioning himself to prevent post-entry passes to his man as the game went on. Offensively he found ways to move without the ball to create some easy looks at the rim, while also forcing opposing bigs to guard him out on the perimeter. Guys 6'8+ didn't want to move their feet with him beyond the arc, and it allowed Nolan to find pockets of space for a few threes to push his team to the win.

In a South Dakota vs North Dakota matchup, Easton helped his Sanford Sports team run away with a win against Pack in 16u play. A big reason for that win was the hot shooting of Easton in the first half. It seemed like any time he got the ball beyond the arc, a shot was going up and three points were going on the board. Such a quick release to catch on the move and smoothly get into his shot before a chasing defender could catch up. Had a heat check make from well beyond the arc that connected in the first half. Sharpshooting guard out of South Dakota.

I really liked the leadership qualities that Graysen had on display for his Playmakers team. The 6'2 guard is constantly talking on the defensive end, and was the most vocal player I saw all weekend. Plays with a lot of energy and toughness on both ends of the floor. Graysen possesses a stronger frame than most guards you'll see at the high school level, combined with an explosive burst that makes him dangerous attacking the basket. Able to explode off the floor, absorb contact, and still find ways to finish at the rim.

Adryan has made some nice improvements since I saw him last summer. He's come back for his 17u season playing a lot tougher and with more grit on both ends. Last year he would try to make a lot of plays off the dribble and it would hurt his efficiency, but the potential was always there. Now he's making it a lot more of a focus to get good looks at the rim, and compete on the block. Miller was working hard to pull in rebounds, was chasing down every loose ball, and had no problem finishing through contact. Add that to his mobility and handle at 6'7 and he's looking like a prospect to know for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'].

There simply aren't many players on Luke's level when it comes to who the best shooter in Minnesota is. If he catches in space, you just assume it's going in, because Luke rarely misses open jumpers. The real problem happens when he starts hitting contested shots too, and that's what happened yesterday against Martin Brothers. Luke got hot in the first half, draining an and-one three, a couple off the catch, and another off a shot-fake into a one dribble pull-up. Add in a couple of strong and-one finishes at the rim, and it was a big showing from Luke.
