Jamir has had a great weekend with [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'], impacting the game in many positive ways. He looks to have improved a lot since his productive sophomore season at Eden Prairie. He is an excellent athlete and is able to defend at a high level and make athletic finishes around the rim. Davis impressed me with his shooting as well, looking for his shots and creating for others, being a playmaker with the ball in his hands.

Charlie fits so well into this [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] team full of elite ball handlers and athletic wings. He was on fire from beyond the arc in both matchups I saw, showing a lot of confidence and deep range. He is great at moving without the ball, as he created open looks for himself without having to take a dribble. I am really excited to see how Howe's game continues to evolve headed into his junior season.

KJ is one of the most consistent producers in this 2028 class, as he is already so polished, skilled, and smart. He was leading the charge as the point guard for [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'], creating scoring chances for himself and for his teammates all day. He looked great when working in the pick and roll, as well as pushing the pace in transition. Wilson was scoring inside and knocking down looks from the perimeter and has his team at 3-0 on the weekend so far.

Blake had the single-best shooting performance I have seen this weekend, as the 5'10” guard could not miss for Pack. He started off knocking down a couple threes off the catch, then started to heat up, looking for his shot whenever he got the ball. He was pulling up off the dribble from well beyond the three-point line and even sunk a heat check pull-up one-legged three. Berstrom is also a great ball handling option and looked good creating for his teammates.

Taaj continues to impress, as he turned in an impressive showing in a win on Saturday. Everyone knows he is a knockdown shooter from the perimeter and he was taking advantage of the defense giving him any space, pulling up with no hesitation. He did a good job dealing with physicality from opposing defenders, being able to work himself downhill for finishes with touch. Whitlock is such a reliable ball handler and is a very smart decision maker.

Ira is one of my favorite guards to watch in Minnesota's 2028 class, as he is so dynamic and relentless. I love how hard he attacks the basket, using his quickness to blow by defenders, where he has many different acrobatic finishes he can go to when met with traffic. He is a great defender and was locking up opposing guards, as well as jumping passing lanes for steals. Thomas is super shifty and is very difficult to stay in front of.

I saw Tate in Denver earlier this spring and I came away very impressed once again in the Twin Cities. He is a very smooth guard, who plays at his own pace and an excellent lead guard to have. He can create using the dribble, being able to work himself inside where he can make perfect kick out passes to teammates or convert with touch or power at the rim. Edmondson can stretch the floor, as he is an excellent shooter as well.
