PHD: Walk me through your off-season. What did you do to improve your basketball game?

“During my offseason, I spent a lot of time working on my overall game. I did this by getting a lot of shots up and worked on making better decisions with the ball.“

PHD: What’s one specific part of your game you focused on improving this offseason, and where do you feel like you’ve made the most progress?

“I wanted to improve my defense this offseason. I feel like I have improved my shooting even more.“

PHD: What does your fall look like right now? Are you playing another sport, or is it all basketball focused?

“In the fall I play soccer and do my best to still get shots up whenever I can.“

PHD: What are your goals for the coming season, both individually and for your team?

“My goals for this season are to become an overall better player and help my team make it back to State.“

PHD: Can you give some insight on an influential coach you have had? What made them memorable?

“My dad was the most influential coach. He has pushed me to get better and held me accountable.“

PHD: Who is your favorite player to watch in college or the NBA, and why?

“My favorite player to watch is Devin Booker. I like watching him because of how smooth his game is and how well he can score from all three levels.“

PHD: Where do you feel like your game has grown the most in the past year or two?

“I think my game has grown the most in my confidence. I am more comfortable shooting the ball and playing against different types of players.“

PHD: Who pushes you the hardest, whether that’s a teammate, a coach, or someone you train with?

“ Karson Zak Karson Zak 6'0" | CG Groton | 2028 State SD has pushed me the most by just competing with him. Playing against each other has pushed me.“

PHD: Where is your hot spot on the floor or can you tell us about a “go-to” move you like to use?

“My go-to move is a quick side step three.“

He had a standout summer of basketball. Weber is a lead guard and a big-time perimeter shooter. Easton is smart, skilled, and sees the floor extremely well. He and the talented Tigers will have one of the elite backcourts in Class A this coming season.

-Showed his athleticism and versatility guarding all positions but the 5 spot

In a South Dakota vs North Dakota matchup, Easton helped his Sanford Sports team run away with a win against Pack in 16u play. A big reason for that win was the hot shooting of Easton in the first half. It seemed like any time he got the ball beyond the arc, a shot was going up and three points were going on the board. Such a quick release to catch on the move and smoothly get into his shot before a chasing defender could catch up. Had a heat check make from well beyond the arc that connected in the first half. Sharpshooting guard out of South Dakota.

-Great anticipation on a steal n coast to coast finish

-Had a sweet crossover, put defender into a blender

-He was playing with alot of confidence the whole tournament

-He didnt need to score, eveyone else handled that in this game

-Gonna have a huge season next year

-Shows elite offensive skills at times, next year watch out he will be a big time scorer

-Great defensive rebound and go, head up and threw a dime to tracy for an easy layup in transition

-Nocked down huge three as time expired in the 3rd quarter

-Hit another three early in 4th from the wing

-Nice hit ahead pass off of rebound leading to easy two for tracy

-Likes to transition

-Showed good handles crossing up defender and creating for teammates

-Can absolutely 🔐 you down when he wants to

-Brings good energy when hes in the game

-Very skilled offensively

-Showed a little bit of a back to the basket game couple times.
