Major was arguably the best offensive player for both the Freshman and Sophomore sessions of the day. Has Elite catch n shoot ability with unlimited range, most his makes were highly contested as the Freshman group had a bunch of very good defenders. Middy pull up game was also on point. Love his soft touch in and around the basket, uses the backboard more then almost any other player (a lost art in my opinion). Playing off of two feet is one of his biggest offensive weapons as on rare occasions he is stopped on his way to the basket his footwork is next level (Hakeem The Dream Like) and is able to still score showing a very high IQ 🌟!

-He had a fantastic club season, excited to see if he shows out on Saturday

-Noteworthy size with the skills to match, shoots it well from all levels

Is Dolan a two-way player? How creative is he with the rock?

Major had a great spring and summer with Sanford 14U Black. Has next level basketball IQ and court awareness. Showed the consistent ability to nock down deep contested shots vs excellent competition. Crafty ball handler with ability to keep defenders at bay with great change of pace. With other teams focusing on stud combo guards Karson Zak Karson Zak 6'0" | CG Groton | 2028 State SD and Easton Weber Easton Weber 6'1" | PG Groton | 2028 State SD , Dolan should be in line for some major output this season.

Dolan had a fantastic club season with Sanford Black. He was surrounded by talented teammates and improved his overall game. Major shoots is long, shoots it hot, and is skilled with the rock. As a coach’s kid, he knows the game well, and has a very bright future with the Tigers.

-Sniper shooter

-Has all the tools to be extremely good

-Next great combo guard for groton?!

-Shows nice footwork coming off of screens

-Excellent passer

-Scorers mentality

-Nice finisher at the rim with either hand

-Definitely looks bigger then listed 6’0

-Has high basketball IQ

-Young player but definitely understands how to score with or without the ball in his hands

I’ve only seen Dolan once at this point in time, but I will see him this weekend at Prep Hoops Stomping Grounds. He has solid size and a solid build and frame. Looks to be a kid that will transition into a wing that can shoot the three and space the floor with his quick release, form, and accuracy. His 3-ball shot looks very advanced and easy for his age. It comes off his fingers and he can flick it from range without using extra help from other areas of his body. Not just a 3-point shooter, he can cut off of the ball and he’s a smooth finisher off of the glass in the paint. Dolan is highly-composed and has a nice skillset to top things off.
