April has seen prospects come off the board at a rapid rate and that trend has showed no signs of slowing down this week!

Below are eight prospects that recently announced their plans for the next level:

[player_tooltip player_id='2696695' first='Bobby' last='Louis']

Louis, a guard out of Archbishop Williams in Massachusetts, came off the board when he announced his commitment to the University of Massachusetts Boston. A hard-nosed guard, he's a playmaker on both ends of the floor. He's got broad shoulder and a strong base, both of which allow him to play bigger than his size. Offensively, he's capable of scoring with the ball in his hands, both from behind the arc and with some creativity around the rim. Louis should be able to carve out a role at UMass Boston and has the chance to have a nice four-year career in the Little East.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341442' first='Jonathan' last='Ocasio']

Ocasio, a guard out of Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, put an end to his recruitment when he announced his pledge to Keene State College. A dynamic ball-handler, he is capable of efficiently running an offense in the half-court and shows the ability to create late in the clock. He's effective scoring in the mid-range and does a great job of playing at different speeds off the bounce. Defensively, he really competes at the point of attack and is often the first to the floor for loose balls. Ocasio could be a Day 1 contributor at Keene State and should develop into an all-league performer in the Little East.

[player_tooltip player_id='2818469' first='Devan' last='Williams']

Williams, a guard out of Milton Academy in Massachusetts, made his plans official when he announced his commitment to Williams College. The 6'1" guard has another gear in the open floor and proved this winter to be one of the best off the bounce drivers in the region. He's got a quick first step, sneaky athleticism, and the ability to finish over size with touch in the paint. He can really defend at the point of attack and uses his quickness to create plenty of turnovers that lead to scoring opportunities in transition. Williams has the chance to make an immediate impact at Williams and could be in consideration for Rookie of the Year honors in the NESCAC.

[player_tooltip player_id='2547044' first='Mason' last='Paquette']

Paquette, a guard out of the Holderness School in New Hampshire, announced his future plans with a commitment to Brandeis University. A bigger guard that can really shoot the basketball, he did a nice job of rounding out his offensive game this winter during his post-grad year. He has good positional size and the strength needed to play through contact as a driver. Defensively, he does a nice job of playing angles and reading plays before they develop, allowing him to make winning plays on that end of the floor. Paquette is a solid get for Brandeis and has the chance to be a four-year contributor in the UAA.

[player_tooltip player_id='2625766' first='Landon' last='Geren']

Geren, a wing out of Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut, wrapped up his recruitment with a commitment to Adelphi University. An athletic wing, he's dynamic in the open floor and when he can attack the rim with space. He's a bit of a streaky shooter, but when he gets going, has proven to be able to make them in bunches. What really intrigues is his combination of athleticism, length, and positional size, all of which allows him to be an incredibly versatile piece on the defensive end of the floor. Geren could make an early spalsh at Adelphi and has the chance to be a big-time two-way contributor in the Northeast-10.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341336' first='Trokon' last='Harris']

Harris, a guard out of the Brooks School in Massachusetts, finalized his plans for the next level with a commitment to the University of Massachusetts Boston. The combo guard has some wiggle with the ball in his hands, does a nice job of creating for others in the half-court, and has really improved over the last 12 months as a shooter from behind the arc. Defensively, he can really guard at the point of attack, makes plays in passing lanes, and does a nice job of rebounding in traffic from the guard spot. Harris might play his way into the rotation from Day 1 at UMass Boston and profiles as a future all-defensive team performer in the Little East.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341312' first='Harrison' last='Aligbe']

Aligbe, a forward out of the St. Andrew's School in Rhode Island, announced his plans for the next level with a commitment to Xavier University. A broad shouldered, 6'8" forward with a high level of skill, he does a great job of operating as a mismatch on the offensive end of the floor. He's got enough skill to play on the perimeter against slower footed bigs and is physical and strong enough to take smaller guards into the post. He's a two-way rebounder that also has some defensive versatility and impresses with the continued growth of his game. Aligbe found his way to the highest level of college basketball at Xavier and profiles as someone who could carve out a nice career in the Big East.

[player_tooltip player_id='2874990' first='Jimmy' last='Farrell']

Farrell, a guard out of Masconomet Regional High School in Massachusetts, came off the board when he announced his commitment to Worcester Polytechnic Institute. One of the top players in Massachusetts this winter, he does a bit of everything on the offensive end of the floor, including making big shots in clutch moments. He can play on or off the ball, makes good reads playing out of ball screens, and scores it at all three levels. Defensively, he guards either backcourt spot, makes the little plays that don't show up in the box score, and is really good in rotations. Farrell has the chance to crack the rotation right away at WPI and could develop into one of the top guards in the NEWMAC during his career.
