This was easily the best I’ve seen Harris play this season (keep in mind I’ve only watched a few Brooks games). He used his quickness and change of direction to get into the paint at will against St. Mark’s, and he took contact very well once he got there. He had a handful of impressive finishes where he elevated, was met in the air by a big man, and still managed to finish with control and strength. The shooting piece is inconsistent, but the junior has some time to shore that up before college coaches start looking at him. I also love the way he competes on the defensive end.

Trokon Harris Trokon Harris 6'1" | PG Brooks School | 2026 State New E is a facilitating point guard with a great feel for the game. He already makes great reads out of the pick-and-roll and finds teammates with either hand with some speedy velocity on his pass attempts. Harris is fast and accelerates in no time, getting easy looks at the rim by evading defenders without much effort. He is also a creative finisher at the cup, attempting up and under shots and manipulating the ball off the glass effectively. While Harris’ jumper is a work in progress, his base is solid and has shown steady improvement already. Defensively, he is a pest on the ball and his athleticism shows well on that end. Harris is the type of player whose high IQ will get him far and should be heavily pursued in the coming years.

Harris is another lead guard that has an impressive physical profile. He does a great job of creating offense in transition both for himself and his teammates. He shows good playmaking instincts; he’s hard to guard off the bounce and has good vision in the half-court. He can finish with either hand at the rim and has an assortment of finishing moves off the bounce. Defensively, he can guard both backcourt spots and has good instincts for jumping passing lanes.
