Metro Mountain All-League Selections

Stokes took home league MVP to go along with the 3A state title, and was accompanied by two of his teammates on these all-league teams. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2767475' first='Jayen' last='“JJ” Crawford'] made the first team, and junior [player_tooltip player_id='2140846' first='Micah' last='Ili-Meneese'] was selected to the second team. Those three led a deeply talented Rainier Beach team to a 24-0 season and a 3A championship.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Other notable first-teamers include Oregon State commit, [player_tooltip player_id='1685489' first='Yeabsera' last='Aklog']. One of the most dominant big men in the state. And two currently unsigned senior guards, 3A Player of the Year [player_tooltip player_id='1685492' first='Brian' last='Webster'], and Seattle Prep star [player_tooltip player_id='1863191' first='Niko' last='Christofilis']. The highly-touted, multi-sport phenom, [player_tooltip player_id='2627281' first='Tytan' last='McNeal'] of Eastside Catholic rounds out the first team while also earning Defensive Player of the Year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On the second-team, we have two of the more athletic seniors in the Metro Mountain, Garfield guard [player_tooltip player_id='2173114' first='Ohmono' last='Bomet'], and O'Dea forward [player_tooltip player_id='2726719' first='Josiah' last='Bowman']. Alongside those two seniors are the aforementioned [player_tooltip player_id='2140846' first='Micah' last='Ili-Meneese'], junior stud [player_tooltip player_id='2140837' first='Kellen' last='Matt'], and sophomore sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='2627277' first='Steven' last='Sun'].
