Bowman continued to be a physical presence by the rim, shooting an impressive percentage from the field and converting on his trips to the foul line. He also did a great job cleaning up plays on the offensive end. He had at least two offensive rebounds in each game, four in their final game, and really displayed how his physicality, paired with tenacity, can make a big impact inside.

Bowman has been a big riser this season as an athletic, physical forward who can score efficiently around the basket, clean the glass, and play some hard-nosed defense. He lacks some size for a true post, but his athleticism, strength, energy, ability to run the floor, and chase guys around defensively have caught the eyes of a lot of people this winter.

Bowman showed some real physicality and ability around the rim in spurts last season at O’Dea. Seeing him across the summer and fall, he’s only gotten stronger and more athletic, and should be a key cleanup man and finisher for the Irish this winter. He’s just 6-foot-6, but has the strong base and explosiveness that will make him a big player around the rim.
