Expert Analysis
Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
The 6-foot-5 wing has emerged as a strong secondary option at Seattle Prep, with his shooting standing out as a key aspect of his game. He has the smooth handle and strength to get to good spots, and his touch on his shot shows up at all levels of the floor. He should continue to be a big part of their offense, and the wing also has some sneaky athleticism.

The skilled wing has the size and smooth offensive skillset to make a big leap in his junior season. He can knock down the 3-ball at a good clip, has the handle to create off the bounce and attack gaps, and has been finishing with some creativity and athleticism at the rim. Prep loses quite a few key guys from last year’s squad, and Matt is in a prime position to help pick up some of the slack.

Matt has a pretty smooth offensive profile that includes the handle to get separation along the perimeter, a very promising long-range shot, and some smart finishing moves at the hoop. He could step up to be a key depth piece at Seattle Prep this season and has all the skills to make the leap toward being a main guy for the Panthers once this 2025 class of players graduates.

Kellen was a big time player during the Top 250 Expo held in Bellevue a couple weeks back and is set for a big season. He has great size and length and uses it to his advantage every possession and is a big time athlete. His footwork down low is excellent and is able to get open and seal defenders nicely on the block.

Matt’s a pretty well-rounded wing who could probably shift over to guard with some more polish. He can hit the corner 3 with some efficiency and handles the ball well enough to be a secondary ballhandler with his AAU squad. He’s got some defensive versatility too, showing the skills to defend in the paint and on the perimeter. If he can sure up his handle and create more opportunities downhill, he could contribute some solid minutes at Prep next winter.
