He just has that combination of strength, grit, and explosiveness that allows him to get to the rim and finish in ways that most players can't. There were times where he simply put his head down and bulldozed his way to the basket for two points. Has the athleticism to get up in your face on defense, and with Select's run-n-gun play-style he's able to get out in the open floor for a lot of transition opportunities. He threw down some high flying dunks in the games I watched.

Caiden hit some big time shots in 24:Up's win over [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] on Saturday. Even when being defended by 6'6+ wings, Caiden was finding ways to create separation and knock down jumpers. Coming into the weekend I had thought of him as more of a slasher, but he showcased a dangerous pull-up jumper as well. Caiden was able to stop on a dime and rise up to get his shot off over length. Played as more of a glue-guy this past winter for a loaded West Allis Central team, but will look to step up as a go-to player next winter as a senior.

Vincent may have been the best individual player I saw all weekend in Appleton. The 6'7 small forward was able to physically dominant defenders around the rim, and was knocking down threes with consistency. If [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] needed a bucket, they were likely looking to get Vincent the ball in the post where he could finish with either hand, and had the strength to physically move defenders. In transition he was able to take flight off two feet to dunk just about everything. His most impressive play though was probably the turnaround jumper he hit on the baseline with Kobe-like footwork. Eye opening weekend from the Edina junior.

The headliners from this Fury team were their bigs, but Tyrese was also a big reason why his team found success. He was stretching the floor from three, not only putting points on the board, but opening up space for his teammates to operate in the paint. Has good size out on the wing at 6'5, and a high release point on his shot that makes it difficult to contest. Knockdown shooter from three point range who helped lead Apple Valley all the way to the Class AAAA state championship game as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2841858' first='Max' last='Winston'] is part of a talented 2028 coming up at DeLaSalle. He caught my eye immediately with his bounce in warmups, showcasing explosive above-the-rim athleticism. That translated into the game against [program_tooltip program_id='2076025' first='Wisconsin' last='Blaze'] where he jumped an inbounds pass and went the other way for a two hand slam. Capable catch-and-shoot wing from beyond the arc, but was at his best using his physicality to get to the rim and finish inside. Nice blend of size, strength, and athleticisim as a sophomore.

Mohammad wasn't backing down against two of the top AAU teams in Minnesota. He's a physically strong 6'3 wing with broad shoulders and a frame you don't often see on the basketball court. That combined with a pure shooting stroke from outside helped him be one of the top scorers in Wisconsin high school basketball this past winter. Against [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] he started off the game with two early threes to help his team go ahead early. Throughout the weekend he showed flashes of the footwork and three level scoring ability that sees him dominate the winters with Salam.

Aguer still has to work on becoming more efficient and consistent, but the potential is there to be a really good player. You don't see guys with his 6'6+ frame who can move and handle it like him very often. He gets up and down the floor with ease, can guard nearly every spot on the floor, finished with either hand inside, and hit a couple of threes in the game I watched. There were times he was trying to force his offense too much, but he still had some really good moments throughout the game in a win for MN Laceup.
