The end of the season is near. Teams are gearing up for tournament play. Sectional Draw was last night. District tournaments in Kentucky start this week. I was able to get out to multiple games in the last couple weeks while also streaming quite a few as well. Big time players had big time performance in ranked matchups as well as games with conference championship implications. Here are the top performers from the last two weeks:

• [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr'] | Cathedral | 6'3” | Senior | Forward | Committed to Detroit Mercy

The versatile senior forward out of Cathedral continues to be one of the more well rounded impactful players in the state. For a player of his size, he moves incredibly well on both ends of the floor. Battled foul trouble in the first half in Cathedral's win over Louisville Male, but when he was in the game, he was getting in the lane essentially at will.

Stats: 22 points | 6 rebounds | 3 assists in win over Louisville Male

• [player_tooltip player_id='2457404' first='Caleb' last='Coolman'] | Penn | 6'5” | Sophomore | Guard

The Top 5 ranked in-state sophomore guard put on a show against #1 ranked Fishers. He showed his scoring prowess and his high IQ to score in a variety of different ways. He was aggressive from the jump getting in the lane at will, as well as showing his smooth stroke from the perimeter.

Stats: 26 points | 3 rebounds | 3 assists | 2 steals in loss to Fishers

• [player_tooltip player_id='1560946' first='Landon' last='Gilliatt'] | Plainfield | 6'0” | Senior | Guard | Committed to Saint Francis

Plainfield's all time leader in assist was doing more than just distributing in the Quakers convincing win over Southport. When the Saint Francis commit wasn't getting in the lane and setting up his teammates for scores, he was knocking down multiple 3's showcasing his range.

Stats: 14 points | 3 rebounds | 8 assists in win over Southport

• [player_tooltip player_id='2389668' first='Garrison' last='Gilvin'] | Louisville Trinity | 6'3” | Junior | Shooting Guard

The versatile 6'3” Shooting Guard in the 2027 class out of Louisville Trinity was doing everything for the Shamrocks in their 57-50 win over Cincinnati Moeller. Scored it in a variety of different ways and was a big time rebounder finishing with a double-double. He's a smooth shooter that's also capable of putting it on the deck and getting to his spots. He plays well through contact and is unselfish looking to make the right play.

Stats: 18 points | 10 rebounds | 3 assists in win over Cincinnati Moeller

• [player_tooltip player_id='3515276' first='Jayden' last='Johnson'] | Louisville Trinity | 6'5” | Senior | Wing

The senior wing started off struggling finishing around the basket early on, but found his stroke from behind the arc and it got to the point where it felt automatic coming off his hand. He was deadly behind the arc hitting five 3's in the Shamrocks win over Cincinnati Moeller. Physical wing with good feel on the offensive end that plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor.

Stats: 21 points | 4 rebounds | 4 assists in win over Cincinnati Moeller

• [player_tooltip player_id='2252551' first='James' last='Kalala'] | Southport | 6'7” | Senior | Forward

The Southport Senior Forward was one of the lone bright spots in the Cardinals loss to Plainfield. The athletic and physical down low presence was a dominant force on the glass on both ends of the floor. Each game I see him I notice improvement in his offensive feel for the gam. Still very raw but showed flashes of soft touch when turning over his right shoulder as well as from the free throw line. He's a high energy big man that impacts the game around the rim in a big way.

Stats: 13 points | 11 rebounds | 2 assists | 2 blocks in loss to Plainfield

• [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'] | Pike | 6'7” | Sophomore | Wing

Arguably the top overall prospect on this list, [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'] is a star in the making, and showed that with his dominant performance in the Red Devils win over Lawrence North. The physical wing was aggressive from the opening tip getting to the basket at will finishing through contact well. He's an explosive athlete that once he gets two feet in the paint, he's looking to finish above the rim, as he did a couple times in the game.

Stats: 23 points | 6 rebounds | 1 steal | 1 block in win over Lawrence North

• [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] | Lawrence North | 6'7” | Senior | Forward | Committed to SIU-Edwardsville

[player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] is simply one of the most impactful players in the state and he showed that in the matchup with Pike and Five-Star Center [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill']. The high energy forward is an elite rebounder that has gotten better and better each year on the offensive end. Legit post up option with soft touch over his left shoulder. Has continued to stretch his range out to the three-point line becoming a respectable pick and pop threat along with a strong roll man.

Stats: 17 points | 10 rebounds | 3 assists in loss to Pike

• [player_tooltip player_id='2213017' first='Meyer' last='Robb'] | Mt. Vernon (Posey) | 6'2” | Senior | Guard

The shifty senior guard in the Southwest Indiana part of the state has an advanced offensive game where night in and night out he's a difficult cover. He plays with a smoothness to his game with his handle and ability to get to his spot on the floor. He's not necessarily the quickest or most athletic player, but he uses his angles well and is able to play through contact while finishing in crafty ways around the basket.

Stats: 21 points | 9 rebounds in win over Tecumseh

• [player_tooltip player_id='1561435' first='Julien' last='Smith'] | Cathedral | 6'0” | Senior | Guard | Committed to Mount St. Mary's

Mount St. Mary's commit [player_tooltip player_id='1561435' first='Julien' last='Smith'] got off to a fast start in Cathedral's big road win over Louisville Male. The 6'0 Senior was a sniper from 3 off the catch while being a true lead guard by making plays for others. He does a good job not anticipating where he's going to throw and makes difficult passes out of the pick and roll look easy by hitting shooters right in the shooting pocket time and time again.

Stats: 17 points | 2 rebounds | 5 assists | 3 blocks in win over Louisville Male

• [player_tooltip player_id='2140345' first='Cooper' last='Zachary'] | Fishers | 5'10” | Junior | Guard

The Top 5 Junior in-state prospect was an absolute wizard on the court offensively in Fishers win over Penn. The true point guard is a special blend of playmaking and shooting making him comfortable on or off the ball. Fishers giving him the ball for the last 16 games and given him full reigns of the offense has unlocked his court vision and freedom and he has become essentially impossible to guard. On top of his offense, he's one of the best defenders in the state that is capable of taking over games on that end of the floor.
