Saturday in Indianapolis turned into a full-court sprint, bouncing between three different events and catching some of the area's top talent in action. From early tip-offs to late-day matchups, the energy never dipped, and neither did the level of play. Standout performances kept stacking up at every stop, with players making strong cases as the day's top performer. After a packed schedule and plenty of high-level hoops, several players separated themselves from the rest with performances that demanded attention. Here are my standouts from a jam packed Saturday:

Arguably the best true post player I saw on Saturday, [player_tooltip player_id='3068383' first='Devin' last='Bolden'] has don't nothing but improve throughout his entire high school career. Has always been a big time rebounder, but has transformed his body and has gotten more explosive around the rim. The recently named Inidana Junior-All Star was a force in a game that got out of hand from the start. Showed his ability as a low post scorer with soft touch around the basket. Had a big day on Saturday and should see his stock continue to rise throughout the spring and summer.

My first live look at 6'5” 2027 Forward [player_tooltip player_id='2426066' first='Samarcus' last='Gipson'] and he didn't disappoint. Long and athletic forward that was able to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Had a stretch in the second half where he had three possessions resulting in a steal defensively that led to a dunk from him and he followed it with an emphatic block. Game changer defensively that can score around the basket. Great first impression from him on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140435' first='Rylon' last='Gore'] | 6'0” | 2027 | Guard | Team Tradition 2027

The Zionsville Product was really good in all facets of the game I saw on Saturday in Team Tradition 2027's win over Indiana Basketball Club Gold 2027. Knockdown shooter that's getting better at playing the point guard role. Was able to get to his spots and make plays for teammates. Really good in pick and roll situations where he can come off ready to shoot. Continues to get better on both sides of the ball every time I see him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1745587' first='Elijah' last='Neel'] | 6'3” | 2027 | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2335148' first='Kentuckiana' last='Hoops'] 17u

The most impressive player I saw on Saturday came in the first event at the PUMA Circuit at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse. [player_tooltip player_id='1745587' first='Elijah' last='Neel'] of [program_tooltip program_id='2335148' first='Kentuckiana' last='Hoops'] 17u has been on an absolute tear to start the AAU season and he kept it going in the game I saw. He's a confident guard that balances scoring and facilitating. He's crafty with the ball getting in the lane and showed impressive court vision making the right play. Does a good job using his body to get to his spots and was able to play on balance. Love the feel he plays with and will continue to be a player to watch on the PUMA Circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='2817739' first='Braden' last='Reynolds'] | 6'7” | 2027 | Forward | [program_tooltip program_id='2470506' first='Progeny' last='UA Rise'] 17u

My first look at [player_tooltip player_id='2817739' first='Braden' last='Reynolds'], a versatile 6'7” forward that plays with a high motor. Really athletic two-way forward that impacts the game around the rim. Big time rebounder on both ends of the floor. Really hard driver and uses his athleticism to finish in a variety of different ways. Showed confidence in his jump shot even though I didn't see him make one. Good release and elevation that stayed consistent with each attempt.

[player_tooltip player_id='2891750' first='Reece' last='Runyan'] | 6'2” | 2027 | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2470506' first='Progeny' last='UA Rise'] 17u

Runyan has become one of my plays in the in-state class of 2027. High IQ guard that's comfortable playing on or off the ball. Got going early and often in the game I got to see. On balance shooter with a quick trigger and showed off impressive range. Love his improving playmaking ability off the dribble. Able to get in the lane and rise up over defenders or make the right read to score or facilitate. Gets better every time I see him play and will continue to have an excellent spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='3605201' first='Maddox' last='Smith'] | 6'0” | 2030 | Guard | [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 14u

One of the better pure point guards I've seen this season and is just 14 years old. [player_tooltip player_id='3605201' first='Maddox' last='Smith'], younger brother of Purdue All American Guard Braden Smith, is the total package on the basketball court. Vocal leader with a high IQ that has the ability to impact the game without scoring, though he does that pretty well also. Understand change of pace really well and has good size for his age at the lead guard spot that allows him to get to his spots where he can finish at the rim at a high level or make any pass on the floor to open teammates. Knocked down a couple catch and shoot 3's with a good looking confident stroke. Will be a name to watch for the next few years as he enters high school.

[player_tooltip player_id='2297505' first='Jaece' last='Vogt'] | 6'5” | Wing | 2028 | Progeny 2028 UAA

Arguably the best pure scorer I saw all weekend, the 6'5” West Lafayette Product showed off his full offensive arsenal. One of the best shooters in the state was efficient as always off the catch and showing the ability to create his shot off the bounce. Was really good getting all the way to the basket. Good frame that can take bumps while staying on balance. Plays with his eyes up and is unselfish looking to make the right basketball play.

Coming off of a breakout season at Fishers, [player_tooltip player_id='2470635' first='Levi' last='Walker'] looks to be taking the next step into becoming a star. The athletic 6'5” Wing showed his versatility on both ends of the court in Saturday's matchup with Team Tradition 2027. In the first half he was looking to get down hill. He's a physical driver that uses his athleticism and build to finish at the rim in traffic. In the second half he stepped out and was knocking shots down from the perimeter at a high clip. Silky smooth jumper off the catch with the ability to also make a move and hit contested shots off the dribble. Difference maker defensively with his versatility to guard multiple positions makes him as intriguing of a rising prospect as there is in the Indiana in-state class of 2027.
