Took over the game against McGuinness. Announced his presence with a skying putback slam and then kept applying pressure. Did a lot of his damage scoring around the basket, finishing with over 20 points for the game. While also delivering tone setting blocks and rim protection. But he's not just a bruiser, he's very mobile. Newcastle played aggressive trapping defense and Williams' ability to move out and pressure is very disruptive. Even one point jumping a pass and racing for another slam. The senior has often played to his potential when watched this season, setting him up well for the next level.

Another 20_ point scorer for the Racers, he looked more mobile and springy than before the break. Had a monster block late in the contest, and was carving up the McGuinness defense with ease. Strong and direct with his drives, while capable of using good footwork to avoid help defenders. Know an injury limited the senior during scrimmage season and start of the year, a fully healthy Antwi-Donkor is a game changer for the Jaguars.

All action Folsom finds a way to get his hands on an insane amount of passes. Which often lead to easy points for himself and teammates. Including a fantastic no look, behind the back assist he recorded in the first half. Has a bit of showtime and unselfish play style in transition. Which could be promising in giving him potential to develop his floor general abilities down the road. Also shot it well from deep in the Monday night win. A momentum shifting player.

It was one of House's best games at the varsity level. He played at his own pace, and leveraged his strong frame to consistently find ways to the rim. Strong finishes on layups, and good touch on floaters and similar shots from the 6-10 feet range. Very impressive sign that he stepped up and gave the Trojans a big three scoring trio in a hard fought battle. Speaks to an improving mentality. Long term, will need to continue to improve his quickness and explosiveness to be better prepared for the next level.

One of the toughest players in the state. Simply relentless as a driver and offensive rebounder. A good second jump and long arms allow him to really excel on the glass. A collision in the second quarter briefly sidelined him due to bleeding. But he played the second half with possibly even more intensity, finishing with 18 points and 11 wins. Morris is a great bet for regional JuCo programs due to his combination of production and intensity on the court.

If there's one thing Douglass needs to challenge for a 4A title this year, it's perimeter shooting. Kpogba brought that with a few big three pointers, especially in the second half. Along with the shooting, he plays with the same breakneck, fearless energy as his teammates. While also being a springy athlete at the rim. Infectious player, who could be the key to the Trojans adding another Gold Ball to their prestigious trophy case.

Mbroh is electric with his quickness and long speed, with not too shabby leaping ability either. Explodes around the rim with acrobatic layups and can stop on a dime with mid-range pull up jumpers. Had a couple moments in transition where the game slowed down for him and he made good reads. That's the next step for him, as in the halfcourt he can be prone to be focused on the rim and driving into crowds. Slowing the game down mentally and better reading open teammates can unlock his full potential.

Pure shooter, who was hitting from well beyond the high school and even college three point lines. The net barely moved on some of his swishes and he must be accounted for. Provides big time gravity for his athletic teammates to attack the rim. Finished with 14 points, tied for a team high for the Chargers. Has taken a big step this season and his role could grow down the stretch.

After a quiet three quarters, Martinez was the closer for the Ruf-Nex squad. Caught fire with four three pointers, including a 25+ dagger that finally gave Crooked Oak separation in the fourth quarter of a tough Class 3A battle. He's an ideal fit as a sharpshooter for a squad with athletic guards who live to attack the rim. And the clutch shots he hit on Wednesday should bode very well for Martinez and company. Especially as they look to match and improve on last year's Class 3A semifinals appearance.

Went for 17 tough points in the narrow win. Good first step on drives, then impressive wiry strength to take bumps on the way to the rim and keep finishing. Still has a bit of a herky-jerky movement profile, but handing out 7 assists speaks to how he's starting to see the floor better and should settle down. He'll need to continue to grow up fast, as Bossell could be the key to vaulting the Chargers into a Class 5A Title game appearance in March.

The bruiser in the middle stepped up for the Chargers with a 19 point and 11 rebound double double. Long arms allow him to corral this boards and even block shots on defense. Has enough of a mid-range and perimeter game to be a versatile threat too. Strong sign that Oates is ready for a strong second semester and is fully recovered from an injury last year.

Poured in 31 points in just about every way while leading McAlester to a near upset in Tulsa. Caught fire from deep, hitting off the bounce and as a spot up threat. Washington's insane speed and bounce were on display with one transition slam, where he nearly hit his head on the backboard after he dunked it. Had another grown man finish through contact, where he hung in the air and scored through a taller, older foe. Football-basketball standout who is a SPECIAL athlete, with a motor to match. One of the best scorers in the state regardless of grade.

Last but not least in this article is one of the very best freshmen in Oklahoma. Opened the game with a deep three and kept hitting tough jumpers throughout the first half. Displayed great floor vision on one drive where he drew a crowd and threaded the needle with an one the money passer to an open teammate for three. Had some freshman growing pains in an athletic and rough game. But he has an amazing skill and feel foundation as he grows into his body.
