20 points and the dub for Bossell. Started strong as a scorer, getting to the cup and also making the defense pay when they sagged off. When EC’s quick, smaller guards tried to speed him up, he did a good of playing at his own pace and then going by them. The game seems to be slowing down for the sophomore. Made better reads as a passer and might be trending to be more of a PG than a combo. Starting to be more athletic too, including a chase down block in the second half. The future seems to be now for Bossell, as he’s enjoying an outstanding January.

Went for 17 tough points in the narrow win. Good first step on drives, then impressive wiry strength to take bumps on the way to the rim and keep finishing. Still has a bit of a herky-jerky movement profile, but handing out 7 assists speaks to how he’s starting to see the floor better and should settle down. He’ll need to continue to grow up fast, as Bossell could be the key to vaulting the Chargers into a Class 5A Title game appearance in March.

Even on a team with experienced and talented upperclassman, the scrappy Bossell might be the key to getting Tulsa Memorial back to the State Tournament and competing for a 5A title. Bossell has the potential to be a dawg on defense. He can be a pick pocket of loose dribbles, or slide his feet and work hard to cut off the opposition. Offensively, he’s dynamic slasher, who is a starting to get on the rims in transition.

Next up in a long line of dogged Charger guards. Has some suddenness to his game as an attacker. Which goes very well with his good body control and hangtime to score at the rim against older and strong players. Plays with good poise for a sophomore to be. All around bucket getter, who should particular shine as a dynamic slasher as his game progresses for Memorial.

Strong finish to the season for the junkyard dawg type guard. Made key plays in the Chargers’ Class 5A quarterfinals victory over El Reno. Gets his nose dirty on defense with steals. Combination of quick disruptive hands and good overall instincts. Signs point to him becoming an above the rim finisher by this time next year. Which along with in and out dribbles and his overall poise as a driver; should make him one of the most dangerous slashers in the Tulsa area.

Promising guard entering the tradition rich Charger program. Has good wiggle and shiftiness for his size, which makes him a handful off the dribble. The potential is there for him to become an electric scorer. Has good foundation to be an off the dribble shot maker. While there could be a scoring punch this season, a hard nose defensive mentality could help him earn minutes for the deep 5A State contenders.
