This past high school season, Boone provided valuable post depth and spurts of productivity for 5A State Tournament qualifiers Tulsa Memorial. He has a massive wingspan, which aids for dunks around the rim and most importantly blocked shots. Was on the rims a bit on Friday night. Then impressed on Saturday afternoon when he volleyball spiked a shot with authority. Still a bit gangly in his movements, but understands his role. Sets screens and rolls well to the rim. This spring and summer will be key for him to turn his moments of production into consistent success.

Boone has a familiar last name and is starting to make his own mark for the Tulsa Memorial program. Is a rim protector and plus rebounder thanks to his long wingspan which allows him to play much bigger than his height. Starting to show good timing as a shot blocker. Battler around the rim on offense, uses pump fakes and has good touch as a finisher. Combines with senior Oates to provide rugged front court depth for the 5A title contenders.

A 6’6” defensive anchor with rim-protecting instincts and the lateral agility to switch out and defend guards on the perimeter. Boone’s versatility was instantly apparent, he could defend straight-line drives, then rotate weak side and block shots with elite timing. He was nearly unshootable over when extending both arms and playing wide, even through contact. Offensively, he displayed soft touch around the rim with a polished drop-step package, turning and spinning into clean looks with fluid footwork. His strong upper body allowed him to absorb bumps in the paint and still power up through contact. A true two-way big with modern versatility and poise.
