For Douglass to challenge for the 4A State Title, Kpogba was going to need to find another gear. He did that in an overtime win over Heritage Hall. He found the extra gear with lights out shooting from deep, while remaining one of the springiest athletes in the state. Since then, he’s remained on a tear. Racking up the 20+ points game and being one of the most exciting players in Oklahoma to watch. Expect that to continue with the playoffs right around the corner.

If there’s one thing Douglass needs to challenge for a 4A title this year, it’s perimeter shooting. Kpogba brought that with a few big three pointers, especially in the second half. Along with the shooting, he plays with the same breakneck, fearless energy as his teammates. While also being a springy athlete at the rim. Infectious player, who could be the key to the Trojans adding another Gold Ball to their prestigious trophy case.

With an electric game and high motor playing style, the east side has taken to the senior transfer. He’s explosive in transition and in the halfcourt. With transition slams and contested acrobatic finishes. But don’t sleep on his ability to shoot from deep. Add in his 10,000 megawatt smile and it’s easy to see why Kpogba has star potential. That should only continue to grow while leading another potential State Tournament run for the Trojans.

Explosive finishing at the rim from Kpogba helped Douglass seal the game in the second half. On drives, it looks like he plays off a trampoline with the quickness he gets off the floor. And the hangtime he has to produce a variety of acrobatic finishes. The speed and aggressiveness he plays with, makes him a natural fit for his new high school. Quite the 1-2 senior punch for the Trojans.

One of the most electrifying guards in Oklahoma. Quick and explosive, he got on the rims when given an open lane. Including catching alley-oops. He’s also quite shifty for a taller guard, moving like a cat when gets defenders on their heels. Then can either explode to the rim or snatch the ball back and drain jumpers. Continued his impressive rise over the last 18 months as one of the top players in gym.

Kpogba caught the eye last spring and summer during local AAU games, with athletic scoring ability. Those performance served as a jumping off point for a fantastic junior season for John Marshall. He’s taller now, more explosive and sneakily is one of the more complete scorers in 2026. His production has carried over with recent accolades at a Made Hoops event in Arizona. The 405 guard appears to be getting even bouncier, with exciting slams in transition and in the halfcourt. No longer a hidden gem, Kpogba is continuing to make strides with loud performances.

Attack mode from the start, very fluid athlete with good twitch and burst, got where he wanted on offense. Aggressive mentality carried over to the defensive end, covers lots of ground off the ball and applies good ball pressure. Even pinned a shot off the glass in the second half. Explosiveness was also evident on a fourth quarter slam to put an exclamation on the Bears’ win. Heated up from three in the second quarter, is quickly becoming one of the more complete scorers in Oklahoma’s junior class.

The John Marshall scoring guard is closing out his summer strongly. During a big comeback victory for his Icon squad, it was early shooting from Kpgoba that kept his squad afloat. Then he hit big shot after big shot from the mid-range and beyond the arc. In past viewings, he’s shown good ability to be a smooth operator getting downhill. If this shooting performance was any indication of the steps he’s taken this summer, Kpogba looks set for a breakout year with John Marshall.

The long armed sophomore surprised in a Saturday morning contest, with good change of direction ability as a slasher on drives. He’s fluid in his movements, capable of getting to the rim and even hitting a floater over the arms of an out stretched defender. Fresh off a strong sophomore year at John Marshall, he was the leading scorer this past weekend for his Icons squad. With good size for a combo guard and promising movements, Kpogba is a name to know for this spring and summer.
