This 6'8" sophomore big man is making some serious strides as a player. His strength and athleticism continue to really stand out, but his offensive skill level is coming along. Basila knocked in a three-point shot early in the game and consistently finished around the rim, including a couple of big dunks, on his way to a game-high 19 points as Chesterton defeated Lawrence Central 72-52.

A transfer from the Memphis (TN) area, Bowen made his season debut for the Bulldogs at the Fishers Holiday Hoops Classic. It is safe to say that Evansville Bosse is a different team with him in the lineup. The Division I prospect has great positional size, length, and athleticism in the backcourt. He is also a very good passer with a well-rounded offensive skill set. Bowen led the way with 17 points and 5 rebounds in their third place win, 69-61, over Evansville North.

We showed up at the very tail end of the seventh place game between Columbus North and Fort Wayne Wayne, but it was in time to see that this Taylor University signee poured in 29 points. Ferguson helped lead the Bull Dogs to a 77-59 win over Wayne.

The one-two punch of Harris and Bowen in the Evansville Bosse backcourt makes them a borderline Top 10 team in Class 3A going forward. Harris, a 6'1" unsigned senior guard, scored 16 points to help lift the Bulldogs to a third place finish at the Fishers Holiday Hoops Classic with a 69-61 win over Evansville North. He also scored 17 points in their win over Columbus North on Friday.

Perry was a consistent standout for Columbus North throughout the weekend. He led all scorers with 22 points when Prep Hoops Indiana's Kyler Staley was in attendance on Friday for their loss to Evansville Bosse and backed it up with 25 points in their seventh place game victory over Fort Wayne Wayne. The 6'2" junior guard is a very talented playmaker.

Pokorney simply impacts winning. He is the primary reason why Chesterton has overachieved many preseason expectations and sit at 8-2 on the season after a fifth place finish at the Fishers Holiday Hoops Classic. The Taylor University signee finished with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals as the Trojans defeated Lawrence Central 72-52.

Prior to the season we at Prep Hoops Indiana predicted that Walker would have a breakout junior season in an expanded role for Fishers. He certainly made us look good on Saturday night. The 6'4" junior, now starting for the Tigers, was absolutely excellent in their 81-60 championship game victory over New Albany. Walker, who as an elite athlete, finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds.

It doesn't take a seasoned basketball scout to recognize why this 6'5" sophomore guard is considered a four-star prospect nationally in the Class of 2028. Washington was held to just four points in the first half, but was able to find his grove in the second half finishing with a team-leading 18 points. However, New Albany fell to Fishers 81-60. His shot-making and fluid athleticism, while playing against one of the best teams in the Midwest, is really impressive for a sophomore.

Washington came out of the gate hot for New Albany and went on to make three three-point shots on the night. However, his 17 points proved to not be enough for the Bulldogs in this one. They fell to an excellent Fishers team 81-60 in the championship game of the Fishers Holiday Hoops Classic. This 5'10" unsigned senior guard is a talented offensive player having a very good season for a successful New Albany team.

Not that anyone is likely surprised, but Zachary was named MVP of the Fishers Holiday Hoops Classic. The junior point guard got hot from three-point range in the third quarter connecting on a trio of triples and went on to make five in the game as he led all scorers with 21 points. Zachary also dished out four assists as Fishers defeated New Albany 81-60 win the event. The Tigers are now 10-0 on the season.
