We watched Ferguson play very early in the season and then again in the Regional at the end of the year. His ability to attack the basket, play off of two feet, and finish consistently at the end of his drives was very impressive. Ferguson had a big year for Columbus North averaging 14.5 points and 5.3 assists per game. The Taylor signee jumped from #76 to #61 in our final Class of 2026 rankings update.

. The 6’1 point guard will be one of the more productive players out of all 8 teams in this tournament being a guy that can score and facilitate. With a couple of offers from schools such as Taylor and Trinity Christian, he is a small college program’s dream of an on-ball guard. Keep and eye on this underrated playmaker.

Ferguson put up some big time stats as a junior averaging 14.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 43.0% from three-point range. The 6’1″ guard makes up half of what will be one of the best backcourts in southern Indiana this season. He can distribute at a high level, but is also a consistent scoring threat from any spot on the floor. The Columbus North High School product is a high academic prospect that recently received offers from Taylor and Trinity Christian.

is one of the elite seniors who can do it all. He averages nearly 15 points per game on 47 percent shooting. Caleb can dish the ball to his teammates as well. He got his teammates involved on 4.4 assists per game. While a point guard, Ferguson made sure to get his boards as well. He pulled down 5 rebounds per game in his junior year. He will take the reigns this season as the team leader after a stellar season. Ferguson should improve in all categories.

We’ve had the opportunity to see this 6’1″ guard from Columbus North High School play a few times over the course of the last month or so and he has really impressed us. Ferguson is a knockdown three-point shooter, but his athleticism and ability to score some off of the bounce is a bigger part of his game than we probably realized previously. His name came up in some conversations with college coaches after a very strong showing on Friday. Ferguson is a very high academic prospect as well.

Ferguson is a very talented playmaker who should make his way on to the watch list for small college programs in June and July. The under-the-radar Columbus North High School guard is a knockdown three-point shooter and displayed high-level court vision and passing ability at the Indiana State Tournament. He is a player that you can turn the keys of the offense over to and trust him to run the show. The constant threat that he poses as a shooter, including off of the dribble, makes it very hard for defenders to guard him on the perimeter.
