Easily the biggest jump this update belonged to Day, who proved during this off-season he's ready for the move from the deep bench to significant minutes in 2025-26. The 6-foot-2 guard has great range and accuracy on the catch-and-shoot, can do some damage off the dribble, and has gotten stronger to make an impact defensively.

The leap into the Top Five for Leunen was well-earned - after earning First Team All-IMC honors the junior has grown to almost 6-foot-7 and has added strength to his frame. He's a dual-threat offensively with the ability to score both inside and out, and as the returning league Defensive Player of the Year he makes his mark defending the rim as well. One of the top players at the Expo: Oregon this fall, he picked up his first scholarship offer from Portland State and more should be on the way.

As he has continued to grow and develop physically, Thompson has shown how he can wreak havoc with his combination of length, athleticism, and ball skills. The junior really exhibited these qualities at the Expo: Oregon in the fall and his versatility and ability to play multiple positions on both ends of the floor will serve Sunset well in 2025-26.

One of the most electric athletes in the Class of 2026, Garlington's collegiate future may be in football but he remains a tremendous basketball player as well. He figures into Nelson's main rotation this upcoming season and his ability to play above the rim should be a factor on both ends of the floor for the Eagles.
