Despite guard-dominated play, Ian made a strong interior impact, scoring 28 points (10-19 FG), grabbing 8 rebounds, and collecting 2 steals. He scores efficiently inside, hits midrange shots, and works well off screens. On defense, he anchors the paint and is a capable side/weakside presence. To improve, Ian should work on defending quicker opponents and increase his rebounding effort. He's a true three-level scorer with good touch, keeps the ball high, establishes position early, and demands the ball effectively.     Judah brings speed, toughness, and versatility as a steady, well-rounded guard. He contributes on both ends, fits various roles, and stands out defensively with good anticipation. Improving his finishing at the rim will further enhance his offensive impact. With reliable shooting and high defensive energy, he's set to make a significant difference for Sidwell Friends this year. Had a efficient game finishing with 7pts, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals.     Green is a skilled, versatile wing known for his smart play and ability to contribute alongside any teammates. He has size, athleticism, and a fundamentally sound game, excelling at both gap-filling and expanding his role as needed. Improving his strength is the next developmental step. Green uses head and pump fakes effectively, can shoot reliably off the catch, shows athleticism in transition, and protects the rim as an off-ball defender. He runs the floor well, shoots from deep—even under pressure—and leads the team in steals. Expect consistent production from Green this season as a key contributor for Coach Singletary.     Jalen combines size, strength, and athleticism to impact both ends. He is a versatile scorer, able to pass, dribble, and finish at all levels, excelling when attacking the basket. Defensively, he brings energy, forces turnovers, and rebounds well on both sides. Improving his off hand will further round out his game. He handles the ball confidently, excels in transition, is active on the boards, and shows coachability and a positive attitude.     Ayden highlighted a strong, reliable presence on both ends of the floor during the scrimmage. Ashe is a smart, solid combo guard who can do everything on the court. He showed the ability to hit jumpers, touch the paint, and create clean looks for himself and others. Ashe is active defender who forces turnovers on a regular basis. Next in his development process is working on the making better decisions with the ball, Ayden is solid get downhill driver and paint toucher. Also showed the ability to turn defense into offense with his quick instincts and constant energy. He showed the ability to score in various ways but was very unselfish with the ball in his hands. Ayden is a great cutter and off-ball threat, which allows him to apply pressure in spot-up scenarios.     Turner consistently contributes within the flow of play, excelling as an off-ball weapon and spot-up shooter with strong movement. He handles closeouts well, finishes efficiently, and defends actively. His rebounding is notable for his size and position, though improving his passing and shooting off the dribble will further his development. Turner impacts both ends, moves smartly to get open, and has proven himself to be a capable ball-handler and hustler. Based on this initial viewing, he should be a key offensive contributor for Largo this season.     I attended the scrimmage hoping to see Tobi face Elijah Schneeberg, but they didn't match up as expected since Tobi played mainly near the basket. At 14, Tobi displays a strong 6'6" frame, skillful dribbling, and assertiveness that allow him to create scoring chances for himself and his teammates. He attacks with confidence and shows signs of developing versatility. With continued growth, Echebi's size and skills point to significant long-term potential.     Ross is Largo's primary big man, valued for his length, motor, and toughness. He offers a growing inside presence, shows promise as a finisher and midrange shooter, and scores effectively in the post. Hundley defends and rebounds reliably, sets solid screens, runs well in transition, and draws fouls. Improving his quickness for better perimeter defense will be important for his development. His strong performance signals he'll be an asset for Largo this season.
