High School Spotlight: Blackhawk Christian Braves

The season is still a few weeks away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. Leading that group is 2026 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1738845' first='Briggs' last='Pardon'], who was the team's second-leading scorer last season, averaging 10.8 points per game. There's a strong chance he leads the team in both points and assists this year as well. The 6'2" lead guard has drawn interest from multiple schools, including Indiana Tech and Saint Francis.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Players: [player_tooltip player_id='2539827' first='Bryce' last='LaCross']/[player_tooltip player_id='2539823' first='Drake' last='Sefton']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/chace-ford/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Braves have some intriguing young talent on the rise, and two players expected to step into much larger roles this season are 2028 prospects [player_tooltip player_id='2539827' first='Bryce' last='LaCross'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2539823' first='Drake' last='Sefton']. Both gained valuable varsity experience a year ago and combined to bring back over 12.0 points per game. At 6'3", LaCross and Sefton are versatile shooting guards who can score in a variety of ways and provide strong production on the wing.
