Briggs Pardon
About Briggs
Expert Analysis
Brandon Ramsey | Prep Hoops Scout
There was no stopping Pardon from getting to the rim on Friday. He used his excellent straight line quickness and explosive leaping ability to penetrate and elevate to finish consistently as Blackhawk Christian went 2-0 on Friday. Pardon 10 points in their win over new Palestine and backed it up with 11 points against Cardinal Ritter. It was his athleticism though that really popped in both contests.

Indiana. Averaging a little over 10.0 points per game as a junior, Pardon is a tremendous on-ball guard with explosiveness and high creativity in the lane with tough finishing ability. With a more prominent role, even more than what he had last season, it is going to be interesting to watch him with Blackhawk Christian in June. With Pardon, expect production at a high level.

A high-upside guard in Indiana’s Class of 2026, Pardon played well consistently for OPS – UA Rise at the Windy City War. The athletic 6’2″ point guard started the weekend off with a team-leading 15 points in a 20-point win over the Illinois Ho OPS tars. He then went on to score in double-figures in both games on Sunday as well. Pardon’s ability to knife his way into the paint off of the dribble and then explode to finish really stands out.

There were some really tough true PG’s I had the opportunity of seeing this weekend play. This young man certainly is on that list. Naturally competitive natured with disciplined composure. Really good to see the grit and scrappiness. Offensively was crafty against a lot of contact and pressure but maintained control to still orchestrate positive flow. Changes speeds while enduring contact in a press setting or in the lane on drives. Will pitch it ahead to get primary break points or can take it coast to coast himself if opportunity is there. Had an And1 put back off a miss and another And1 on a drive. A scrappy guard that will be good to see his stock continue to rise over the next year.

Fort Wayne Blackhawk recently made the move up to Class 3A this offseason, but the Braves are no stranger when it comes to cutting down the nets in Indianapolis. They could do so once again with junior guard

leading them in the backcourt like he did this season. Pardon has broke out as a player for the Braves with his 11.0 points and 2.8 assists per game. Pardon is a guard with a lot of smoothness to his game and displays great court IQ. To start off Sectional 21, Blackhawk has Fort Wayne Concordia.

- Finished with 6 points.
- First time seeing Pardon live and was impressed with his smoothness and handles. Would have liked to have seen him be a bit more aggressive but overall, you can tell he is the main option in the backcourt for the Braves.

has solidified himself as the No. 1 backcourt option for the Braves of Blackhawk Christian. As a player that still seems a bit under-the-radar, Pardon is a very athletic player and has flashed some intriguing playmaking ability as a true point guard. He is also a type of player that can fill up a box as recently shown with his 30-point game the other day. He is on track to big breakout season this year.
