Ryker showed why he could be a contender for Minneapolis City Conference MVP in a win over Osseo on Sunday. At 6'4 he has the size to play out on the wing, but is at his best running the show for his team. Over the years he's proven to be one of the better passers in the 2026 class, and that trend continued as he dished out a number of assists against Osseo. He was dangerous hitting his bigs out of pick & rolls, and had some drive and kick passes leading to wide open threes. Ryker has the vision and skill set to find and make passes that not many other players can.

On the receiving end of some of Ryker's passes was [player_tooltip player_id='1874800' first='Brayden' last='Gorton']. The 6'9 big man just keeps on getting better, and looks ready to be a go-to player for Washburn this winter. He can catch on the block and go to work with his back to the basket, but also has the touch to face up and hit short/mid-range jumpers over the top of smaller forwards. Active rebounder who keeps the ball high and has a quick second leap for put-back buckets. Also provided a shot blocking threat on the defensive end as he does a nice job of walling up to absorb contact and block/alter shots without fouling.

You don't find a lot of high school players with the combination of strength and skill that Camare has. He's built like a power forward, can move like a wing, and has guard-like skills on the ball. Put a taller forward on him and Camare is too agile on the ball. Defend him with a smaller wing and Camare will simply bully his way to the basket. He's done a nice job of toning up over the past couple of seasons, and it shows with his added explosiveness finishing above the rim. One of the best available wings in Minnesota's 2026 class.

Kobby plays with a level of physicality that not many high school players can handle. Against Apple Valley and Hopkins Kobby put his strength on display, scoring both out of the block, and driving in from the wing. Does a great job of playing off two feet which helps him absorb contact while still finishing on-balance. Against smaller lineups he showed he's capable of moving his feet out on the perimeter, but also spent time defending 6'7-6'9 bigs in the paint. Hard working player who offers consistent production.

Richfield figures to be one of the top teams in Class AAA this season, and the addition of Waleed in the backcourt is a big reason why. Against Mahtomedi his ball-pressure defensively was key in a win. Waleed was relentless picking up opposing guards full-court and pressuring the ball the length of the floor. He's so quick moving laterally, and although he can occasionally get in foul trouble, he has quick hands to come up with steals leading to transition buckets for his team. One of those players who can make a big impact on a game without needing to shoot much.

Kolby continues to produce at an impressive level for Prior Lake this fall. He creates separation with ease to get shots off over taller guards, is aggressive getting into the lane, and has impressive vision to locate his shooters off the drive. That shot creating ability should make him a go-to player in late shot clock situations this season. Does a nice job of coming off of screens tight to lose his defender, but can also read when his man overcommits and reject a screen to blow by him to the rim. Tricky guard who plays with great chance of pace on the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839785' first='Evan' last='Atkinson'] set the tone early on against St. Paul Johnson with some quick three point makes. He has size out on the wing at 6'4 that colleges look for, with a smooth stroke that gives you confidence in every shot that he takes. With a talented creator at point guard in [player_tooltip player_id='2126118' first='Tyler' last='Forrest'], Evan does a nice job of moving off the ball to create angles for kick-out passes. Always has his hands and feet ready to shoot on the perimeter. Averaged 7.2 points per game last year as a junior, and I wouldn't be surprised to see that number break double figures this winter.
